CDA Institute

The CDA Institute conducts in-house research and publishes external contributors, organizes student conferences, provides paid internships, subsidizes student participation at our events, recognizes excellence in the field by issuing awards such as the Vimy Award and the Captain Nichola Goddard Award, and hosts events including our Metro Expert Series Webinars, the Ottawa Conference on Security & Defence, the Montreal Climate Security Summit, and the Vimy Gala. Through these initiatives, we sustain, renew, and strengthen a community of practitioners, scholars, and policy-makers who care about Canada’s role in the world and are keen to learn from one another to help promote a rational and evidence-based approach to Canadian security and defence.

The so called international Order! Has clearly failed? Does that mean all countries should follow and fail too! Or can other countries, learn from this failure, avoid the failure and learn not to do the same mistake, it's called improvement! And find a better solution that works equally for all countries?

Not sure sbout challenging the world order. One thing for sure is to cut off the protection rackets from the gang of 7 on developing countries. They are sick of all the bs imposed on them to coni oppressed their gtowth. Only they sent is weapons and lies. Instead if helping and growing together and live in peace. The constant pandering of war mingering here and there . 3/4 of world wants peace and stability, not constant bullying by the imperial west.

If BRICS really challenges the so-called " international order " , it would be fantastic good news. The reason is that the current " world order " is dominated by hegemony and this situation must be straightened so as to create peaceful world ....

It is unfortunate that America owns our ballsack. Otherwise we could leave the G7 and NATO to join BRICS+, embracing multipolarity. Too bad our foreign policy was also hijacked by pro ukrainian nationalists, i.e. the ideological progeny of Bandera's OUN-B in 2024. Let the record show we chose to side with LITTERAL NAZIS and lost in embarrassing fashion

Armed forces members should not be political actors (beyond exercising their citizens' right to vote). Canadian citizens are blissfully unaware of the need of each country's responsibility to contribute a fair share to collective security. Ottawa feels no pressure to meet Canada's defence responsibilities, so they don't.

It came down to we got the money down throughout the year with all his great policies. That’s when I knew these people were ride or die for this guy.

Real reason is NATO of Eurocentric bias along with White Supremist Australia have mythologized 1935 to 1945 WWII as some romantic adventure age to have ignored Allied Atrocities. A case in point an eldest kid of a family from Ontario was reading a book called "Heroic Canadians of WWII" to not have to mention how a lot videos are filmed in of Canada. It is often of Eurocentric or Afrocentric biases of Politically Correct popular wars benefit Middle East monotheism similar to how Bradbury dystopia where they televise battles to entertain. People only feel sorry if victims of a foreign nation's aggressions if such victims have cutesy babyish large round eyes to appeal to mammalian nurturing reflex.

Japan during the 1930s or China today are examples of how a cutesy toy maker image often usually erodes any national self respect to go militaristic since Jin Xi Jinping has only a right wing nationalistic fascistic xenophobic parochial chauvinistic card to play after investors flee from China so as before China goes through cycles of more it develops more it turns inward to become unstable.
