    If the allen screw doesn't come out, should you drill it out?

    Super random question did you use ramps to lift up the vehicle? Or are you in a oil bay change station

    Thank you for the well-done video. You can often get these maintenance parts free from the faucet manufacturers by asking customer service.

    Will a 11mm deep socket work? Or I’ll need the sae deep socket set for the 3/8 wrench

    What do you do with old oil?

  • @pdumpsterful
    @pdumpsterful Жыл бұрын

    Save it. I give it to a local shop that burns used oil for heat. Most auto parts stores will take used oil. Always save an old jug for used oil when you do oil change because most vehicles don't use 5 qts so you will have new oil left over.

    Best video I've seen on this. The repair kit I got said it contains something that can cause cancer. I got a cheap one. I guess it's the rubber. What about this? Does the brand name have parts that don't cause cancer? Jeez.

    A 7/16 socket will work, but Focus is metric. If you have to go out and get a deep well socket, you should get an 11mm. A hollow shaft 11mm or 7/16 nutdriver will also work.

    If your watching this don’t tighten your filter with anything but a clean rag and your hands 🤣it’ll be stuck when you go to do it again also wait 10 minutes to check the oil because it’ll be in the top of the motor still so it’ll be an inaccurate reading
