Revving higher or quicker does not mean ,you are going faster ,it's all about torque ,the big pumps with balance shafts produce more torque .
Race 2 cars exactly same ,but one with oem oil pump ,second one with type s pump .I tell you ,the oem oil pump car will win.

Installed today in my 22 Civic Si and car would not start after install. Finally got the message 'To start, touch start button with emblem side of remote'. That worked but I have to go thru that process every time to start the car. Any idea what I screwed up ?
Go back and make sure the keyless entry sensor is plugged in. It's on the right side of the shifter.

Is here any difference on the a2 oil pump and the z1 oil pump? I'll be doing an K24a build this summer and I was wondering which one would be better? The a2 or the z1 oil pump? I'm leaning towards the z1 setup, but was just wondering if the z1 is better or is the a2 better? Thank you in advance to anyone that can help giving some advice. <3

I'm trying to swap a k into my old Datsun pickup. I don't think i need the conversation harness. Would I be able to run the K24 with a manual ecu and immobilizer bypass and just the engine harness? It do i need a conversation harness to hook up the o2 sensors?
Do they make an exhaust for Fk7 ?
We do not offer a system for the FK7 at this time.

Brilliant vid and saved for when I swap the balance shaft out of my K20Z4 in the near future. Question though, do you have enough bolts off the old windage trays to bolt the new one in or need to order more? The old oil pump had bolts between cylinder 2 and 3 which are no longer used. Do these need replacing? Or just left open? Cheers 👌🏻

Yes, same parts apply to the EK Civic. We have a kit for that on our website.
You guys didn’t show the part how to modify or cut the k20a2 oil pump so it could properly fit on k24a
We explain it in the video. We used a bandsaw.

It does not fit the Civic Sport Hatch because the rear section and bumper is different on the FK7.

Do you make a conversion harness for a cross platform engine swap? Honda k24 to Volkswagen chassis, longitudinal mount engine.
We offer a universal conversion harness which can connect the K24 to the 02-04 Hondata KPRO. You'll likely need a special RWD style K20A2 engine harness, but it should work. Check Rywire or WireWorx for custom engine harnesses.

Question !!!! The bolt you guys put on with honda bond , is that necessary? 😭 cuz all i did was put a lil big of lug tight and screw a bolt in as tight as possible. I did have a thread in there, I know there’s people that dont and have to make one
Has anyone had issues with the stock shifter sometimes doesn't shift so smoothly especially when going to reverse i heard that this is a common iss with the 22 si and if so does switching to the short shifter resolve this issue ?
i have an 23 si, are you still rolling forward when shifting in to reverse?

The shift boot and all other factory parts are 100% compatible.
I have someone local selling v1 shifter . How do they hold up ? You guys have released newer models so just curious.
We always encourage customers to get the newest version possible. In some cases we cannot support older versions because we stop making parts and pieces.

There is a way to have K-swapped cars CARB legal. You will need to contact your local ref service and ask for advice and the rules to follow.
This is such a huge gap in the resto market. You can build a chevy or ford from a catalog, literally everything every piece of trim and screw is available repro, why not hondas!!!
Ultimately it's all about demand. If enough people demand those parts and it is economical for companies to invest in tooling and inventory, then it can work. If no one wants to pay premium prices for those parts it makes it difficult for anybody to invest in it. The domestic market is full of people who will spend tons of money on the correct and accurate parts.
