Arrows in the road are useless if stationary traffic are concealing them. What Muppet came up with that idea. Otherwise useful video for those did not do their theory properly before taking their test.

I have been doing this for decades.... And on a multilane highway, I also check the trend in the lane on the OTHER side of the one I am moving into- MANY times this has saved me from a driver changing from the OTHER side of the lane I am going into! I always try to practice 360 observations when driving: when you are driving, you are responsible for ALL the cars around you, and paying attention to who is where, and how they are moving is very important- speed, direction, possible actions...

So let’s say I turn on my turn signal to change lanes and then check my mirrors and blind spot but I then find out it’s not safe to change lanes. Should I then turn off my turn single until it is safe or just leave it on and then change lanes when it is safe?

I have my road test tomorrow. Im 34. Anxiety and bad decision making prevented me from getting my license. I finally straightened things out and passed my knowledge test 1st try last week. However, im incredibly nervous about backing into a spot and my etiquette as im driving..im a single full custody dad and i NEED this license. Ive been driving with a passenger for years so im confident in normal driving. Please tell me im overthinking...will i fail for not reverse parking well my 1st try?

Why not just learn the incredibly easy art of parking backwards... Then you can leave forward (like you're supposed to) and this wont be an issue. What a pointless video.. I didn't watch it.. just thumbs down for the stupidity. If someone can't park backwards.... perhaps they shouldn't even be aloud to drive a vehicle. It's obvious they can't.

6:45 what happens when you don’t get this gap and traffic is super heavy, what if its a two lane road and you can’t see if the car in the right lane is actually stopping. What happens if the oncoming traffic is tryna beat the red light and speeds up?

To future watchers you can do this without removing the fender shield if like me you have skinny arms. You can just lift the hood and remove your passenger side headlight and you can reach the valve from there.

Your video is very informative but do you need to signal the whole time? And if you do, when you reverse do you signal right ? Also, when you drive forward do you signal left?
