Thanks to *Greatorwallen* for helping me,sadly this does not work for me...mine has been hacked for over a week and I don’t have the option for need more help and the hacker change the email and phone number. I click reset password but it take me to request support. there asks me if i have a photo of myself in the account If i click yes they ask for a password that was previously associated with the account and every password I enter does not work but with the help and support of *Greatorwallen* I can now access my account back.
What if it keeps saying it can’t connect? The WiFi password is correct.
Check if you are using the correct WiFi which is the 2.4Ghz one from your router. Also restart your router (power cycle it) ant try again.
So if I have 2 houses and only want to share one.. That person will only be able to see the shared location correct?

This camera can’t connect with the base station if you are NOT in the US. This is ridiculous. Just a wasted 200 USD on additional essential cameras and none of them connect to my base station.
I’m sorry but the rule already exists before you buy the camera, so why did you buy it? There other options available out there that works outside the US.
Can you view a live camera feed from your phone or PC without being.connected to the internet.? I have 5 Amcrest cameras connected to a OFFLINE router, and can connect my phone or PC to my offline wifi network, and view all my cameras locally, and view motion detection recordings on the SD, card, as long a I am within 50 yards of my router. I love the Wyze cameras, but the incessant need to have them constantly connected to the (easily hackable) internet for them to function properly, has prevented me from buying them. Do Wyze cameras still have this glaring flaw that most big name security cameras do not have?.
To have the Wyze cameras working without Internet you need to install the RTSP firmware as shown in another video here in my channel

Great video. My issue is that the blue LED light just keeps on recording, meaning a constant blinking blue light. Does this light ever go solid or is this normal blinking constantly?
There's a Red Dot on that bottom left side that keeps blinking to indicate that is recording. I don't recall a blue LED blinking.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. Powering my modem off then on did the trick AFTER disabling all its 5GHZ networks. When I tried connecting by just disabling the 5GHZ's it wouldn't connect, it needed that power reset. I also opted NOT to update the firmware as I researched a lot of WYZE owners had problems after doing that. Once it was connected I re-enabled the 5GHZ networks and everything is working as it should. Thanks again after two frustrating days of trial and error.

when i just bought a similar viltrox EF to L PRO I had the same cable problem even tho they are USB type C I remember I managed to upgrade using another original iPhone c to c cable , now I want to install firmware again to change it to autofocus lenses but the F*kr doesn't wanna read on either windows nor mac... and I lost my iPhone cable ... so frustrating, the female port on the filter wiggles since day onepreventing the usbc to go all the way in

It depends on the error. Did you check if it's a password error, or perhaps you are trying to connect the camera to the 5Ghz WiFi Band instead of 2.4Ghz. Some cameras can work with the 5GHz WiFi and some don't. Perhaps your Xiaomi connected to the 5Ghz. Check if you have the 2.4Ghz enabled and available in your router.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Who has more than one wifi connection? I have a 5G phone with data and can turn on my wifi. I intended to use it to connect to my camera, doesn't work. Tapo C300 is useless.
EVERYONE has more than one Wi-Fi signal option in the router. I’m not talking about having an extra router but just enable the 2.4GHz signal on it. The 5Ghz technology came after the 2.4GHz, so In the past everyone only had this option, which means your router MUST have it but it is only disabled. It’s not the camera fault. MOST devices still use the 2.4 GHz bandwidth. Just because phones have the 5 GHz available doesn’t mean the camera is a bad product. It’s just a question of understanding how to use the technology at your disposal. I hope you can understand that now.

@@SarahJMTaylor 90% of the cameras such as Ring, Arlo, Blink, etc use 2.4GHz because it's a cheaper and widely spread technology. Wi-Fi routers also come with the option for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Yours should have the 2.4Ghz enabled enabled during the first setup since it's the most popular option. I see that most users are not technical, but this is just a question of checking a button to enable it, either you log into your router to do it or ask somebody to help you with that. You see that is not a problem on the camera side? It's using the most common technology.
