It's a shame they let it rust away in mother nature elements just so further work has to be done on it to get it running again. Id protect it from the elements and put it in a building not just leave it outside like nobody cares about it.

This makes me so sad. I lost my cat in late June this year too after 17 years. Im still so heartbroken and empty, it feels so lifeless at home now.

Everything in life changes eventually, even if you don't want it to. Don't waste even a second. Make sure your not coasting in life, do what would make you happier than you are right now and do it quickly before you can't reach that happiness in the future

Excellent advice. I was miserable and contemplating the worst, my cat came into the living room when I was close, he saved me twice. I retired early, moved to a small town where it would not matter how much money I made. A kitten showed up in the driveway this spring, it’s been rewarding earning his trust. Now the three of us are happy.

It's always good to make sure you have many sources of dopamine in order to avoid getting addicted to unhealthy thing wasting time unsatisfied, plus cats are pretty awesome. I recently started getting myself out of this unsatisfying pattern I've been in just spending my life consuming information with no substance, I love memes, but I haven't watched almost any in a while in comparison to spending literally the whole day on my computer. I've been taking baby steps but that's way more than before. I've been going outside and using self-therapy to try and find worth in myself regardless of how much others value me. sorry for responding for so long, i just want to share how stupid I feel isolating myself when what I wanted was human connections.

This happened to d&ln#7 at Greenfield in Dearborn Michigan this summer.the dry pipe is leaking. it happened in August of this year. thay are still working on it.they sead it won't be running until April. but with 1309 hopefully it will be a speedy repair and recovery. and she will be back out there soon.but with big machinery you never want to rush a repair. rushing just causes more problems later on.

Hudson has no deck plate ! Why did Bmann screw that up when others do have a hinged deck plate.. They've got the cab's rear grab irons running down attached TO the fixed-in-place deck plate !!..What !? Why ? + No smoke unit ? Near list of $500.00 ? Hmmm.

Fun fact: EBT 16 is actually of the same class of locomotive as the White Pass & Yukon railway’s 70 class locomotives. Both classes were built to Baldwin Locomotive Works specification 12-28 1/4e.

No they were not. The 16 would be a 12-34-1/4E where as the 70 class are 12-28-1/4E. The 16 has 20x24 cylinders VS the 17x22 of the WP&Y Mikado. The 16 is about 20,000lbs heavier, has more adhesive weight, and about 5,000lbs more calculated tractive effort. However, the WP&Y had a propsal from Baldwin to build a larger 70 class locomotive (that would have been their 80 or 90 class had they of ordered them) that would have been more comparable to what the 16 is
