Not from the 16th century as it would have been made predominantly from wood, which this is clearly not.

I doubt this vice is 16th century. It looks like it has acme style threads. Probably more like 19th or early 29th century vintage.

You should have used the USB-C charger board better than Micro USB, but loved the video very nice

There is absolutely no way that this is from the 16th century. Nice restoration though.

Napisałeś "very old way of welding".

Let us assume that this is indeed a vice from the 16th century, and is, as you suggest, a rarity. While I accept that it might not make a particularly popular video, the correct procedure would be to simply conserve the item by a method which preserves all remaining marks from it's original manufacture, and 'witnesses', ie. wear and scarring arising from it's use over the centuries, all the while, using techniques which prevents future degradation from corrosion. All I would have done, is remove existing rust by electrolysis and treating with tannic acid to stabilise any remaining rust in microcracking, before oiling/waxing to keep it safe from future rusting.

Id put this at late 18th century at best. There's no way the vise jaw knurling was done by hand at they would have had to do in the 16th century. Hell, if this was made in russia it might have been as late as 1960!

Perfect example of using the wrong size anchor for the thickness of the material. And also over-torquing the fastener until it collapses and destroys the integrity of the fastener.
