Self love isn’t as selfish as most people think. Self love is learning to love yourself. All the bad. The good. The issues. And look in the mirror and say back with a smile that “I love myself. And I love what I see.” Cassie doesn’t love what she sees and she thinks a man will help her see that. But if you can’t love yourself how is a guy supposed to help you when he isn’t you. Cassie always found self worth in the men she dated and had sex with. That was her escape place which is very dark and I’ve been through that before where I used sex as a coping mechanism and a way to block shit out. I know a lot of ppl hate her for what she did to Maddie and I get it but she is honestly a very heartbreaking character that I think a lot of girls r like and can relate to irl. Also a lot of ppl don’t talk ab her having an abortion. I think she definitely did the right thing with all her issues but it definitely fucked her up and there’s so much emotion surrounding how abortion can affect someone even if they made a good decision
