Real Airgun Adventures

Real Airgun Adventures

Airguns, Targets, Hunting and all things Shooting. This is a a straightforward airgun channel, I'm not here to sell you anything, and everything I test or review is either bought with my own money or built by me.
I may sometimes tell you where I have bought an item from. That's not to encourage you to do the same but just for reference. Sometimes, I get a rifle or pistol on loan to try out, and if that is the case, I'll let you know at the time. You'll probably notice that I do like springers, but I still have PCP and CO2 rifles and pistols. I'm certainly not an air gun snob, and I'm willing to give every manufacturer a try. The air gun world has room for everyone, whether you plink at home, hunt in the field or want to win medals & trophies
When I'm filming out doors, sometimes things dont work out or i miss an important moment. I'll try to keep the editing to a minimum but sometimes it's unavoidable. So if you spot continuity errors or other mistakes feel free to let me know.

    @@RealAirgunAdventures I think it's more to do with the size of the market, more people, more sales, cheaper prices but unfortunately, after sales service is terrible. Warranties that are only good for 12 months, very few repairs and parts services, I've had to send to the UK a couple of times for things like valves and washers ( Bagnall and Kirkwood) for a couple of my Co2 pistols, not cheap but not as expensive as replacing with a new one.

  • @RealAirgunAdventures
    @RealAirgunAdventures12 күн бұрын

    That's interesting, and you may well have hit the nail on the head. In the UK the distributer is pretty good and we have some good spares people. I would thought the parts situation would be a lot better there. Just goes to show. Thanks for that insight 👍.

  • @BoggWeasel
    @BoggWeasel7 күн бұрын

    @@RealAirgunAdventures Sorry, but it just had an insight about pricing. Haven't been back to the UK for best part of 30 years so I have to work from memory.... UK advertised sales price usually includes the sales tax (or it used to) correct? USA sales price is without tax as each State has it's own sales Tax rate and taxes certain items differently. In NY State where I live, sales tax is 8% so the $370 + $29.60 = $399.60 closer to what costs in the UK.....

    Technically it is a bullpup as the action is behind the trigger, I believe that’s the definition. A lot of bullpups are just full rifle actions in short stocks and you end up with the bolt by your ear, like my gamo boxer an flash pup but I don’t mind

  • @RealAirgunAdventures
    @RealAirgunAdventures17 күн бұрын

    Yeah, the Hatsan flashpup is a perfect example of that. Brocock have decided to call these and several others, Semi-Bulpups. I can't see why they wanted to start a whole new category. It is still a good rifle, whatever they want to call it. Thanks for watching.

    I think you'll love it, i hung out for the HR model because I was raving for one and they were due too release it a few months after I got the urge to buy the original, anyway, it's my go to gun for the range and squirrel popping ( go too, as in favourite) smacks heavy spinners round at 30mtrs with ease on level one ( chronographed at 6.5fpe with 9.56grn pellets) yes there's a bit of hold over needed, but makes it interesting... I know it will differ from gun to gun but - - - - - 1 = 6.5fpe 2 = 9.2fpe 3 = 11.6fpe Little bit industrial on the trigger, but you get used to it.. Build quality is very good, the carbon bottle is good for well In excess of 250 shots ( never really counted, but can be at the range for 4 and an half hours with need for a fill..) magazines are OK, but had a bit of a problem with cycling with quite a few different types of pellets, plus, the new one my daughter bought me for my birthday shows a difference in accuracy.. And at ( at the time) was best part of £60, OK it's not a million miles off, but noticeable.. All in all, I'd give it 7.5 / 10, it's great fun with the power levels, light ( ish) to cart about, reasonably quiet ( hammer noise is near yer ear) very accurate.. Will be good for 250+ shots easily, even the non Huma regged version..

    Just bought this a few days ago, naturaly the Canadian version. Without sound suppresors, but has optic sights, 4x32 scope, no case ( disappointing), just gettting the scope dialed in, pretty hefty unit, hate the bulky trigger guard, moulded to the stock, will take out dremel and work it a bit, i find the trigger finger position to be very uncomfortable. @@RealAirgunAdventures Novelties intrigue me and that is why I visited a Chinese website. This 21700 is available in the regular lithium version to simply place in a device with a built-in charger. There are already chargers to charge these in the normal way. However, I did not find this version with a USB port. For example, there are already AA batteries with a USB port, but these are usually with a high Ah value and you are not simply meant to connect them to a mobile phone or a smartphone charger (5V) Always new things, so hard-earned money keeps rolling in and you are often forced to go along with those changes. There is still a lot to expect from the battery world, The days of carbon-zinc batteries are long gone.
