What is up guys my name is Jesse I've created this channel to share automotive DIY and entertaining videos of me and my friends "YONKES" including lowering, suspension, LS swaps, engine rebuilding, transmission rebuilding, auto body work, ect. In case you are new and don't know what yonke means its slang for junk trucks & cars. Some things you can expect by subscribing to this channel is doing every thing in house or on the cheap like junkyard parts cause I'm broke and don't have big money to spend on my projects.
I started this channel so I could have a place to show you guys it doesn't take much money to get your projects going. I'll be the first one to tell you guys I'm not the best at anything but I get it done some how. I do live in the windy city of Fontana, Cali.... I'm always down to connect and answer questions if anyone needs help. Feel free to reach out on social media I.G. @LowLifeYonkes just slide in my DM's or leave me a comment on my youtube.

It’s recommended to use a line wrench in order not to ruin the flats on the nuts
Yes I agree but I use what I have thanks for watching I appreciate it
Would I be able to use my stock radiator and just get those fans or do I need to get the radiator
The same radiator works fine bro
i wanna do a 6 lug conversion but i was curious of what sr did you choose and if you added bearings and seals the length and bolt pattern is asking me all that’s and i have no clue
SR ? And no I used my old bearings and got new seals from the auto parts store all the measurements are in the video follow them and you won’t have a problem I wrote them down in the video
@@LowLifeYonkes thanks man i really appreciate it
Where did u get the brackets to hold the radiator?
It the original fan shroud I cut from the old v6 I took out
My block 1 pin 7 doesn't have a termination, what does this mean??
I guessing u don’t have defrost right if so Block 1 pin 7 there is no wire and block 4 pin A just cut the wire u don't need it I did mess up on that 1 wire hope this helps
Good foundation to build a monster.
Thank you for the comment bro
Threads on fitting came apart and started to leak

I'm way past all this, i just came to see what you were up to for 💩😂's. I started out just like this. It worked, Well I went through three of those fuel pumps before i changed to Aeromotive. Now it's all in a box somewhere hiding from the mud dobbers. Besides the terminator, this is the ( just enough, it will work) Approach, Besides the terminator. Which you don't need, if you're going B minimum everything else. I'm not breaking anybody's balls, like I said I did the same thing and learned. Well kinda, I did it this way because I couldn't afford to do it right all at once. Which means in the long run. It costs you more. Like buying a custom car That someone spent eighty thousand dollars to build, for 30 grand At barrett jackson. It is what it is. You buy the training wheels and then you throw them away. 🤙
Thank you for watching I appreciate the comment
My Dads been gone for 22 years but I keep up his 95 heavy half clubcab , he loved that truck and so do I. Just got the ac working again but the switch only blows on high so I ordered a new one from Amazon which cost me 100 bucks Canadian not bad, imagine my surprise when I pulled the old unit out and it was completely different???🤯 I was getting ready to send it back when I started reading about the wiring harness adapter kit, I found a new one for under $50 and it’s on its way. Finding a good info video on how to make it work is another challenge till I saw yours, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, you put a lot of effort into this and as you can see from the comments we all appreciate what you have done! I can’t wait to get at it once that harness shows up, it will be a breeze thanks to you, great job!👍
Thank you for the comment at the time that I put out this video no one had made an adapter harness but as time has passed they have become available from eBay amazon ect. I glad I could help everyone out with this issue keep me posted on how it works out for you thank you for watching I appreciate it
I was surprised at the quality of this harness, both ends are complete no need to create the connection, they are plug and play, hooray keeping the spare parts though, thanks for what you did it did get me up to speed!
@@Springer_maniac I’m glad it worked out for you thank you for the support
@@LowLifeYonkes The stupid thing now is the fan still blows only on high, there must be a relay somewhere malfunctioning. May have to just replace the fan, one way of keeping your truck like new 🤣
@@Springer_maniac replace the blower motor resistor first that should fix it
That is perfect, what efans did you go with to fit flush?
I got those from a Chrysler pasifica 2004
I wanna do this to my 01 chevy 1500 not sure if it’ll fit tho
2001 ??? It’s that an NBS
Yes it is sadly I just wanna find a way to put the OBS style look to it without having to change the shell fully
@@smjbstudios8414 yea no bro this will not work for you sorry
I think a template would help out a lot. I installed mine and the left side of the tailgate isn’t flush anymore with the taillight. 😅Probably less than half an inch. I’m guessing I didn’t drill the hole properly. And also mine drops kinda fast like in 2 seconds compared to yours. Nice video though bro 🤙🏽

That cooler is metal on metal with the rad support, maybe not so great. Also most recommend to also use the radiator cooler along with the aftermarket cooler.
The cooler is actually aluminum and you can choose to route it how you like but most affective by bypassing the rad since u won’t get the heat from the coolant thanks for watching
Just got mine in the mail. Didn't get a sticker...pretty bummed out now 😂
😂 that’s funny
Thanks bro how did you run the starter wire?
Yes I did from the original wire harness that’s why I didn’t show it

What are the fittings called that you put in the transmission to prevent fluid from dumping into the bottom of the transmission?
All the parts I used have links in the description box below the video
I think ur talking about 6an x1/4nsp trans cooler adapter fittings
Question when your stick shift to an automatic can you mix a 93 stick to a 96 automatic?
I don’t understand what stick shift your talking about
Let’s see them lit up. LED would be nice
Will do bro thanks for the comment
I guess we're going with #3 lol
lol 😂 yea I don’t like led look but this is a good in between middle ground thanks for the comment
Option 2. Option 3 is nice but you can still see the aftermarket stuff under it, which does look cool now, but it will go out of style and look tacky in time. OEM always fits the truck. You know what I mean? When you see a car that was restored in the 90s and it's obvious
I agree 100% bro I have never been a fan of led lights but option 3 is a good in between middle ground so I’ll run that one for a while but probably go back to the OG can’t ever go wrong with that 1
Option 3. The OG look with the modern lights is nice.
Thanks bro just making sure thank you for the comment
You answered your question with option 3 lol
Just make sure everyone agrees lol thanks for the comment
@@LowLifeYonkes oh yeah man, great work. If someone doesn’t agree they just jealous of your skills🤙🏽. But no problem man, keep on grinding

I did this exact same thing to my 4x4 Tahoe and could not feel any difference. I don't see how people say huge difference. My brakes still feel as spongy as ever.
Then you did something wrong with the install or the bleeding

They are actually 2500 drop spindles
Question, where did you get those bucket seats without armrest ?
I actually have 2 passenger seats from a 60/40 bench seat just using the 2 40 seats only no 60
@@LowLifeYonkes So the seat leaver ends for the driver is on the wrong side ? on the right side ?
@@reymensk8 yes they are both passenger side seats with the lever on the right side of both seats but u can’t tell it’s a passenger seat unless I tell you cause all of theses style seats have arm rests
@@LowLifeYonkes Nice, yeah i've been looking for a while a way to use bucket seats without armrests so i can put a jumpseat out of a 2014. I was thinking something like this too, but insted using the base of bucket seat with armrest and swap out the top part with a passenger seat.

How did you did the rear ones send video
I have a video look at my channel it’s in there

Build is looking good boss. Now how did you integrate your stock harness with all of this. What did you leave( for lights, turn signals and windows etc.)and cut? I have an 88 I’m working on and I’m at a standstill with that.
All I have is all lights work so I left all of that alone I still have abs I left that alone and ac wiring I left alone and very important I left the body harness that goes inside the cab on the passenger side firewall leave it alone everything from the engine came off with the exception of oil sending unit, coolant sending unit, sarter trigger wire everything else got cut out which made my harness much smaller and thin but it looks good
@@LowLifeYonkes thanks boss appreciate the feed back. So for your starter you ran that independently as well?
@@antonioayala2046 the starter trigger wire did become independent after I took out most of the engine sensors but I ran it with the body harness to the passenger side and put heat tape since it goes under the header on the passenger side
You wouldn’t happen to have a video on what you left untouched on your stock harness. Looking to trim mine down and wet to he sure not to mess it up.
@@antonioayala2046 no sorry bro I don’t but I will tell you I went to the junkyard and got a complete stock harness and I fucked that 1 up it was a learning process for me since I hate wiring after learning from my mistakes I had to try again and just took my time and it came out perfect
Did you send your harness fuse box out to get redone?
No I took it out so I could get rid of all the sensors I no longer am using just to clean it up
Playa. I did mine only thing i regret is haking up the harness thinking i was done. But mine is running owell. Lol. Are you doin ac install
Yea I’m running ac I did get a complete wire harness from the junkyard from a v8 2wd truck that I tried to use and yea I fucked that 1 up so I had enough practice and then I went at my original v6 stick shift harness there’s a few things that are different but similar but it’s in and working how it should
I just did the upgrade today and the braking is so amazing. I realized that I need to adjust the drum brakes sometime soon and it will be A-1 braking. I did have a little leaking where the adapter screwed in but I tightened it down really good and it did stop leaking.❤😊 Definitely worth the swap for sure.
I’m glad it worked out for you thank you for sharing I appreciate it 💯
