Kissing can pass on all sorts of viruses and diseases. Infectious mononucleosis causes a viral illness for example that is actually also known as the kissing disease for this reason. We would not want people who can infect future and present partners or relatives as well as friends to get infected with any number of diseases due to gross irresponsibility, immaturity and unprofessional conduct of some actors and actresses. Maybe it should be included in a code of conduct for actors and actresses in Nollywood. Even if the rest of the world is doing it or not doesn't necessarily mean it would work to our benefit in our society. Kissing doesn't necessarily impart authenticity to a movie, even romantic ones. If it must be done, it needs to be done professionally and with due care for the well being of all involved.
