  In my phone it started with pink but after doing all of your method excepr the update it became green line and it is not going , pink line was not permanent it used to came back after some hours but green line is not going at all.

  If the “Stolen Device Protection” on your iphone is ON you need to switch that OFF then this error message goes away (for me) and you can add and delete fingerprint ID’s
