    Exactly why I didn't back him at the PGA. I am going to Troon on the Saturday. I know winning Memorial before Pinehurst seems to have spooked him but it's links golf...he should have played in Scotland this week. Even if he finished down the board like Morikawa in 2021. It's a format they don't see often and experience is invaluable at the end of the day.

    WOW - you guys put on a hell of a show! Very enjoyable, insightful, and some good humour. My nickname for Cam Young, after you voiced your concerns about his head space, can also be Grumpy Bear! My nickname for him is Grizzly Bear. The Grizzly is simply based on his beard. The 'Bear', obviously has the Golden Bear connection, in name only, BUT this part of his nickname is derived from his golf swing and a joke. A Bear walks into a pub and says to the barman 'I'll have a pint of...................... lager'. The barman responds by asking the Bear 'why the big pause?' The Bear, with a confused look on his face, holds up his paws, looks at them, and says 'I don't know, they've always been big!' So Cam has that pause at the top of his backswing, so if you boys don't start calling him Grizzly Bear then he definitely won't have anything to smile about! Great show as always. Thanks, and go The Big Easy!!!

    Literally 'next door' is the Prairie Club. This golf course, for years, was rumored to be the '3rd' golf course along with the Dunes & Pines courses. To bad it became a private course. That 3 course combo, plus the small Horse course, would have been epic.

    Yes, because when the top European players moved to the PGAT in the 90s, the European Tour banned them, fined them, and told them never to return. Oh wait, the European Tour back then wasn't run by Biden-loving MAGA-hating ban-maniacs. And the European Tour didn't launch a full on Maoist-style tyrannical campaign against LIV/PIF that would discredit themselves and the whole of professional golf. The PGAT has a Go Woke, Go Broke mentality. It would rather go broke than have anything whatsoever to do with MAGA LIV. Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, Greg Norman, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Cameron Smith, Pat Perez, and Patrick Reed are all MAGA. 1/

  • @AntonyRG1
    @AntonyRG1Ай бұрын

    The PGAT/golfing establishment is now run by Biden-loving anti-American communists [Cultural Marxists/progressives/Blairites]. Perfectly mirroring what has happened to the State of Georgia [home of the Masters]. A state that was once conservative. Now full on communists who migrated out of communist central i.e. California. Look at any of their websites. You will see endless support for the hyper-racist Cultural Marxist/woke DEI [diversity, equity, inclusion] agenda. These gender and race-obsessed maniacs despise all of the people mentioned. They hate LIV because of its association with Trump/MAGA. All negotiation demands from the PGAT include the complete cancellation of LIV. 2/

    Everybody does understand why Rory didn’t want to talk. Rory doesn’t have to describe how he feels, as it is self-evident. Rory posted a very sincere & thoughtful message of congratulations to Bryson , so he took care of that and expressed more to Bryson than would have been the case in the statement you suggest. It is the media that is blowing this situation up to boost ratings. There is no fan outcry over Rory’s quick exit. As a paying customer, the only thing Rory or any other golfer owes me is letting me watch them play, which is what I pay for.

    Djokovic had a fine career after escaping from New York after being ejected from the US Open for hitting a lines woman in the throat, so not a big deal for his fans. I'm not sure it helped Djokovic get big promotional money after that kind of exit, so still maybe not the best move by Rory. Not the best look for the PGA tour either.

    Disagree on the “high scores and difficulty turning off fans of the game.” Nope not even close at all! It’s more fun to see these guys struggle and battle on one tournament out of the year. How often these days especially is the winning score of a golf tournament not -15 to -20 under or lower? The Memorial was fun to watch for that reason this year!

  • @bt2476

    Disagree on the “anchor sites” for the US Open and Open Championship. It’s exciting and interesting to see new and different venues around the world. To me, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, it’s somewhat tedious to see the same names year after year after year. There are so many spectacular golf courses around the country and around the world. Why not showcase these spectacular venues? Especially because at the majority of these “anchor sites” the average person can’t even play there!

    Also, the US Women’s Open is being held at LACC in 2032. The USGA is far from done with LACC. The talk about LACC being “to easy” as a US Open site is totally misleading, as the 1st round lead kto the final winning score in the 2023 US Open changed from -8 to -10. LACC played as difficult over the last 3 rounds as any US Open course. Because of lack of experience with setting up LACC, the USGA’s 1st round set-up proved way too easy, but rounds 2-4 demonstrated how easily set-up can be changed to make LACC as difficult as desired.

    Nah dude...personally I like to watch women struggle in the US Open just like the men do. I tune in for the competition and how the women handle themselves in adverse situations, not to watch them make slews of birdies. It's great theater when the best best player in the women's game gets severely penalized for hitting less than quality shots at the wrong time. To watch her reaction and watch her try to settle down after that type of trauma , similar to the shock Sheffler had to overcome in Louisville after being falsely arrested, I think is absolutely the best type of reality TV for a national audience. Love the game by itself but to see strange added dimensions occasionally makes it that much more entertaining and intriguing.

  • @billsheeley8006
