This was some serious flashback from my childhood lol. I remember all the different adaptors for the older tv’s.

I was 11 in Upstate NY. Saw it at an opening matinee. Was completely in awe from opening crawl -the orchestra music the the HUGE spaceship both rumbling the chest …just emotionally overwhelming My mother was a good seamstress so she made my brother a Jawa costume that year for Halloween too. In subsequent years I would attend the subsequent movies in space buns and my R2D2 and C-3PO earrings -wearing one of each which was considered avant guard for the time I had no idea that one day I would live down the highway from Skywalker Ranch and drive by the exit every day I even met a Star Wars model maker at a party …and I live on the extension of the road that American Graffiti was filmed on … I also have glass art from the same Benicia glassblower who was commissioned to make a chandelier at Skywalker Ranch

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing this content. Will E6000 really keeps the wood part attached to the Polyethylen or PVC matereial the barrel is made of?
@TheOuterRim_3 ай бұрын
The E6000 has worked pretty well. It held up for 5 years with the barrel out in the weather all year. A wind storm blew the barrel over this Winter and the greeblie popped off. I will probably glue it with E6000 again.

Cracking video mate. I saw Star Wars with my dad in 1978 when it was released in the U.K. Like almost everyone else from our era, it was mindblowing, and has remained a cherished memory. We were all TRULY blessed to have experienced such a worldwide, culture altering event as young people, and it gave us all something precious that we carry through our lives. May the force be with us!❤

Right? We didn’t get to chose what we saw. Skywalker Sound did the sound effects for that movie, and they were working on it at the time, so that is what was screened.
