Bald tires don’t have less grip in the dry. Unless these bald tires were corded. Old tires however are dangerous. Even if they have full tread. Over 5yrs old they handle (braking and cornering) much worse than when new. I had fun and tested this out on the track. It’s amazing how their performance (and thus their safety) degrades when they get old.

Diamond Vercetti ended up being new crank case cover (all oil leaked out) fairings and yeah turn lights.

Tacomas are different . they have more stuff on them for a smoother ride. which makes them not as good for off road as the hilux is ! if I have the money I would fly to Japan and get a hilux lol
