  No she is not suffocated...... Neither died... She went to hibernation....and also she is an android (robot)..... I am also waiting for rest of the scene...it will be shown in season 3 not released yet.... I assure you all that she will not die .... She is so strong that she can handle a planet army alone....   Definitely touches on simulation theory too. The Shrike from Hyperion definitely inspired this with Marcus being crucified upside down on the Mary/Sue tree. It simulates or broadcasts reality from the tree that entraps us and means to harm us while we can’t imagine why it does it to us.   Things that I haven’t seeen mentioned by anyone is the song mother is singing before she hurls that dragon down from heaven shes humming the “Sun has sunk,” lullaby hymn that Sue didn’t know the words for. Also when it attaches to where mother has her “utters” lol the serpent sticks his disgusting tongue out and onto her and gives a cry that sounds so entitled and it tries to drink from her it looks like a tree and see the exposed roots. It’s in the shape of sol invictus. One thing is I haven’t seen anyone mention is that Otho the dude in the helmet who mother got blood from that raped Tempest and was the number 2 guy in the Mithraic church to feed the serpent while in her body and the helmet that he wore looks just like the serpents head with the weird spike protrusions. It’s clearly speaking to wolves in sheeps clothing. The punisher helmet that hides face while committing violence against the atheists, the veil on mother and grandmother. And she looked just like Paul did when he was “evolving into a snake” when the veil swallowed her up. I think its about our perception and connecting events from learning the secrets of the dead. By definition that is what a necromancies is, someone who divines using some perceived entity

When he wrecked mother he smiled and laughed and laughed when he attacks the treee. Im not wrong, look at the eyes and hear the blink and you’ll see an intelligent being like mother said when she violently ripped his brain out. The same eyes also showed up on Paul when her was in that cocoon thing evolving into a snake. Mother looked like she was in that same cocoon when the veil swallowed her up.
