    Why did AJ take such offense from a simple question? That triple play was beyond nuts. The product is not good enough. Riley Green cant be your own development piece. There is no core. And wins should be all that matters. Maybe if he didn't hire his own buddies to be hitting coach, he wouldn't take it so personally?

    Baseball fanbase in this city has to be the least educated of the 4 major sports teams. I get it, the season is long but always comparing the return of a previous regime for an aging superstar to a rising young Cy Young candidate that hasn’t even hit his first payday is not the appropriate comparison. Not gatekeeping being a fan but just please, be better. Doug - there’s not a team in the majors other than the O’s that would turn down a 1-1 for Gunnar Henderson, come on….

    If the draft sucks as badly as Doug says, trade the pick for a current player or future considerations if the draft looks better next year.

    Montgomery is absolutely a top 20 back. Whoever wrote this needs to be drug tested. Either way I believe we have a future top 5 back in Gibbs, maybe even as soon as this year.

    Okay, I agree Montgomery got jobbed here. But here's the thing, the Lions aren't a team that relies on a featured back. They ranked fifth as a team in the run game last season and their passing game was ranked second. That's what matters. And what, Gibbs isn't going to improve in his second season, pushing that rank higher? The Lions had the #3 total offense last season. Provided they stay reasonably healthy they should be even better this season. Nuff said on that account.

    ESPN...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣... wait 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Okay, in all seriousness, the Jets play in New York, they spent a sh*tload of money and wasted draft capital on Rodgers the space cadet, the order went out from the league office, pump em up. ESPN doesn't care, they know they have no credibility anyway. They got out of the sports business the day disney bought em.

    Total disrespect of David Montgomery, and proof that the people doing these click-bait/eyeball rate rankings just don't watch the games only the highlights. Thirteen touchdowns with 75 yard and 42 yard breakaway runs with incredible moves along the way while averaging 4.6 yards per carry and getting those 1,015 yards. Gibbs with 1,261 scrimmage yards and Montgomery with 1,132 out paced every other backfield in the NFL. Both are top 10. Go Lions!

    As long as we aren't giving up quality assets I'm okay with somewhat of quick fix approach in the short term, if for nothing else than to just put functional pieces around these young players and allow them to develop. Also Zach Levine is not tempting whatsoever, while a great player his knee injuries aren't going to get better when the Pistons window does open (assuming this goes well with Langdon)

    There are some solid 40%+ 3pt shooting 2's in the draft. Have to get a floor spacer to complement Cade. With that said, not sure how Ausar fits. I saw too many games last year where they left him wide open at 3 because he can't shoot. He needs to upgrade that part of his game significantly to fit modern day NBA.

    I think the Lions have shown they really like to keep the players they draft, so long as they can produce at an acceptable level. Levi and Comminsky I think are the most at risk of either getting cut or not extended once their contracts expire.

    I'm sorry, folks. This Pistons team is going nowhere fast. There just isn't anything they can do about it no matter how much 'CEO mindset' they have. Grow comfortable being the Flint Tropics for at least 15 years. They'll be playing on AM radio for most of those.

  • @cameronstokes9296

    If we acquire assets, we can get a superstar in a trade. Do it the OKC way. Obviously we don’t have a PG, James Harden, to trade away to get picks, but we can do the reverse. Take on bad contracts, still get a good player in the short term, while also getting draft picks to use for better players in trades later.

  • @HakeemTheDream616
    @HakeemTheDream616Күн бұрын

    @cameronstokes9296 That's the only way we can get one we definitely ain't getting one to sign as a free agent. We've never had a superstar signing in free agency in the history of our franchise even when we were dominate.

    Let Casey coach after a meeting letting him know this is just so we can take our time finding a coach and not have to dig at the bottom of the barrel. It could be someone in the NBA or NCAA and we just sit back and wait for the coach we want, then get him.

    As a Detroit fan, the only recent successful rebuild I have seen are the Lions, so I tend to use it to judge all other attempts. What is the new Pistons philosophies (Lions have grit, nailing the draft beyond the first round, leaning on Speilman and having former stars, grit, rewarding play with extensions, Calvin and Barry, around the program, etc.) What is the Pistons plan?
