Such a good come up story, the struggles that nobody realizes. Super funny though, wasnt funny at the time i suppose. Awesome brand. Thanks Dayle!!!
The man, the myth, the legend. SJ and the Kotze's have created one of the most genuine family vibes in terms of company culture and it translates through to their customers who are some of the most loyal in the trade!
Awesome 🎉
So coool
Thank you.
Really cool.. cSixx showing the world what SA can do!
Its amazing to see there are companies out there flying the flag as high as CSIXx does.
Great video of a great company. This was interesting to see what happens behind the scene in a production company. Thanks for this. I'm already planning the parts upgrade of my bike to jazz it up with these cool products locally made.
Glad you enjoyed it! They are next level. What an eye opening visit!
Melissa is absolutely flying now. Her improvement compared to a year back is fantastic.
Thank you. She is, its been a great journey and hopefully one that encourages females out there.
Hi which trail is this?
Hi sorry for the late reply. This is Bloemendal and its on the Lombards Terra trail. Well worth a visit!
definitely in my top 3 local trails !!
This weather is playing havoc, we were supposed to go back this week.
gave it a go this weekend past ! so amazing ! corners are just beautiful !
Glad you like it! Its running so well at the moment
Cool video
Thank you, well worth a visit if you havent been before. There is something for everyone!
Re the Thule bike rack, this is why we ALWAYS put a moerse thick chain around the bikes and the rack. Saved my bike more than twice!!!
Will definitely be doing this going forward. Dont want it happening again. Thank you for the advice
You guys make it look easy, haha
Dont be silly, we see how you ride. We just catching up. Hope you guys are well. We need to get you on the podcast!
Tokai is prime at the moment. But on the bi-directional trails, it's actually the rider coming down that should yield for the rider coming up ;).
Love it. Thank you for clarifying that. Great for the people to know. Thank you!!
Nope not the case in Tokai, ascending rider gives way.
@@WarrenMelissaGoRiding Nice video, fyi the trail you popped into after Fairy Garden is Your Roots.
I’m new to the sport - loving your content and video - helped me miss quite a few falls because of you lol. Please can you advise me on a MTB shorts and pants and tops you use?
@@bradleygreeff8908 There are quite a few different brands out there making MTB specific clothing. If you prefer the more casual look and aren't going for the full XC look, then look out for brands such as Fox, Leatt, Specialized who all make really nice shorts with padded liners. Your local Sportmans Warehouse also carries other brands such as Endura, Indola, First Ascent etc. Always best to try the clothing on to ensure good fit and also see which suits you best in terms of pockets etc.
Well done. I experienced some vertigo just looking at you riding those exposed bits!
It was crazy, but it also gets better, I promise
I really enjoy your videos have been to couple of the tracks you have shown on your videos 🎉❤
Awesome! Thank you! Whats your fav so far?
Nice conversation guys 😉🤙PS: Bike Instructor Certification Program = BICP. Keep up the great work ✌️
Thanks for that! Thank you for watching!!
Had a few chuckles on this one.... The Horror movie tunnel... This is not creepy at all.... In the MTB Argus we did that route so I was expecting the huge cliff... I was terrified....a lady tootled past me going up that thing... I clung to the rocks and any vegetation I could find.... She was crazy...
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Sheesh what an amazing interview. 2 very articulate and sincere guys on the couch! Great job Warren. Can’t wait for my coaching session with Rob! (Was tickled pink by your mention of me War 😆)
Hahahaha, be sure to check out the other podcasts too, they are great!!
Dope session, thank you for taking the time to share this with us all

Theres no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing haha
Hahahaha, so true!
Lovely! Did the STBB4GOOD 60km MTB race in pouring rain in that area last year. Tough but stunning.
The views make up for it!!!
Looks amazing!!!!
It is! Definitely worth the ride
Great video as always. See Hennie joined you guys. I love watching your videos with my "new to off road riding" better half. It preps her and makes my job easier. Thank you. As sweet as it may seem...... by handing out sweet to the farm kids creates a nuisance.
Awesome! Thank you! And thank you for the advice. Really appreciate you guys watching them!
Awesome video! Could you guys tell me what you use to record? And the recording prosess? Would love to hear it!
Hi, sure thing. We use a GoPro Hero 12 and DJI Pocket 3. To edit we use Premier Pro. Let us know if there is anything else you would like to know.
Nice. Is this still the correct route in mid-2024?
Yes it is :)
Too cute ❤
Thank you
Hey! Giant rocks!!
Its ok!
Where is this?
This is Old Bethlehem Farm in Kylemore Stellenbosch. Its better known as Banhoek trails. Some of the best trails you will ever ride in your life!
@@WarrenMelissaGoRiding Thank you🔥
We have done a weekend warrior video on Banhoek. Check it out and let us know what you think!
I am also interested in cable reduction on my e-bike 🔌 and an upgrade to my dropper post 🚲 I think others people from the Tygerberg MTB club 🇿🇦 would be interested in a video of this wireless dropper post from a local Cape Town manufacturer 🙂
Hi, we did a video with Dale at Lyne components where we discuss the dropper in quite a bit of detail. Let us know if that works for you :)
Love the view
Its beautiful!!
can you remember the total ascent - looks like a super chilled ride and great to build confidence
Its SUPER chilled and i think it was around 300m +/- of total ascent.
so what was sthe actual problem with the motors, besides the noise - mine whines like a Sandton Kugel!
Hahahaha, thats funny. It was noise and it was losing power...
great video
Thank you for watching
Stellies local here been riding idas Valley community trails for years and botmanskop and stellenbosch trail fund trails we keen on shredding and have a blast what my backyard has to offer kudos
These are sooooo good. Cant wait to try the Idas Valley Trails!
Guys as a Stellenbosch local. You are very very very brave to ride there alone and not in a big group. There has been many attacks in the Botmanskop area. It's not safe in any way. Just be aware when you ride there it is very dangerous.
Notes, wow, that sounds intense. We really didnt know. But will def keep an eye out this sat when we go back in a bigger group.
I was wondering what Warren’s reaction was going to be on the goddess climb! Some heart in mouth exposure around there 😂. The other 4 or so trails down botmaskop on that side are also worth it - particularly fynbos trail and the furthest one along the traverse which name escapes me. Nice video! 👍
Thank you so much for watching hahahaha. It was intense. Wanted to ask, where can we park on the Jonkershoek side to do those trails?
You can park at Bartinney at the bottom of Skyfall as far as I know. There is a trail that goes up botmaskop from the Banhoek side (up you go camissa on Trailforks), with an e-bike you can have a good time going up and down all of those trails. From Jonkershoek/Stellenbosch side, which you ask- you would park near Uniepark by the botmaskop reserve, then you can ride up to the top (and skip Goddess) - go up via corkscrew or just the steep jeep track - go over into the conservancy or come back down Stellenbosch side to where you started the ride up via the Doctor trail.
If you’re talking about from Jonkershoek itself - I stand corrected, but there is no way into the botmaskop reserve without going through private land as far as I know (only seen those jeeptracks used during the Epic when the landowners open up).
Well done. Lekker julle! 🎉
Thank you!!!
Very cool, thanks!!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic!!! Please share your strava link or any sort of record of this ride. #KeepOnKeepingOn
In the description ;) Pls give us a follow for all of our ride details. Thank you so much for watching!
