So basically i decided to rent out my 2008 bmw 328i m sport to a friend.. The car has OIL in the water and was towed to my house for inspection. The first procedure i needed to do was a complete cylinder compression test to make sure the engine was still good. Luckily all cylinders have normal compression so our motor is good. Next i drained the oil to see if there was coolant in it. It doesn't appear to have mixed. So far the cooling system seems to be the only system affected on the car. For everyone that was watching this livestream. My phone overheated again and shut off. I will resume the repair and flush procedure tomm july 16th.. around 12pm pacific standard time. Thanks for watching and showing support 🙏
I hate these female torx heads!!!
Good video except that the music gets rather irritating after a little while.
Thank you, i was still learning my audio for my software at the time. It sounded good in production, but came out much different rendered. I have gotten way better since then.. Thank's for your input 🙏
Bro no need to do codings then?
No coding just plug and play.🙏
Just done today Worked perfectly Thx a lot 🤘🙏
@@tukilucas9593 awesome glad i could help🙏
can you run without a tune
Yes
What does it mean if the light is on still on the gear box but on the dash it shows D not DS
Ds is just abbreviation drive sport,
That's edge of your seat content....so glad you got it done 👏👏👏 Did you recode the module from pick a part? Or transplanted original module onto the pick a part value body? I missed that part of show.. going back to rewatch previous ones
Thanks man, so i ended up bending one of the pins on the computer, so i had to swap in old computer.. i will be releasing a full video of the ordeal in about a week.
@@findfixxflip aww dam...but I was thinking the problem isn't with your module but with the check balls not allowing fluid pressure to engage shift. Then module puts car in limp mode to protect from complete failure of gears being starved of fluid. Thanks for posting very informative. Prayers from Jacksonville FL it's resolved now.
What's up bro...6L45R?? 🤯
All good and simple instructions. Only comment I would add is you'd be doing everyone a favor if you check BMW manual for the prescribed torque settings and use an accurate torque wrench. Not everyone has the "feel" that only comes with lots of experience.
Thank you, yes i agree with you, in my newer videos i have been using one. Thanks for your input though. Always improving my craft.🙏
bro its neither an X5M or electric it is the new XM with an 4.4 V8 and 489 hp thats why there are 4 exhausts in the back. it has an electric motor too but it only has 197hp. but its still a nice car
I was wondering, honestly was trying to figure it out. 🤣

No need to unhook battery?
100 percent un hook battery.. that is the first thing.. VERY IMPORTANT.. 🙏
Cannot hardly hear what your saying for the background music
Yes u know, was still learning audio development then.. These problems have all been fixed im my newer videos..

Will this work for 2005 320i e90
Yeah it should just make sure you have the right chassis daten file for your model loaded into winfkp.. I think the e89 file should still be the right one for your model.🙏
No heart head light mod here..lol Thanks for that tip I'll be looking for index 12 now too. I got 2 new vanos and 6 new coil packs. Another 2 vanos but that set had minor baked oil on them. I cut the harness to one of them an used a 9v battery to test them....and same here 1 rim is always missing I don't get it 😂
me neither. lol, yeah was a little dissapointed that i didnt go the next day all 6 index 12's were there, but i still was able to get 2, and i got a nice denso alternator and had it tested it's good. So not bad haul, but the heat was almost unbearable especially for the electronics.
If this is a Denso compressor, sorry if the info is in the video and I missed it, it came filled with PAG oil. Unfortunately Denso comes with a very poor write-up on what to do with the oil. In a nutshell it tells you to pour oil out of your new compressor into a clean container, next pour the oil out of your old compressor and then put the quantity found in the old compressor back into the new one. Problem is it does not tell you anything about the existence of a drain plug. The drain plug is the 10mm bolt between the pulley and the black electrical connector. It has a brass washer. If you try to pour through the drain oil will come out easy if it is there. To get it all out you may need to turn the pulley. Not much oil if any will come out through the AC line ports. Another issue is the amount of oil to put in. I generally do not buy the recommendation to use the amount drained out of the old compressor into the new one. My evaporator was leaking refrigerant and PAG oil for years. When my compressor died, it started leaking out of the pulley, it was because it was starved of PAG oil. When the AC system is considered dry, Denso recommends 2.4 oz of PAG oil be put into the compressor. The whole system will take more, not sure if it is 6 oz that findfixxflip puts into the compressor. But the balace of oil can and should be added at the time of recharge. The location of the drain plug and the 2.4 oz figure are as per the technical expert from Denso.
Thank you for your technical reply.. So as a general when replacing a compressor i use 4-6oz of pag oil.. i have done this religiously for many years with no issues.. just make sure to screw in plugs before installing so you dont spill out all your fluid.. hope this helps 🙏
Are you able to install the new sensor without emptying all the oil? Or big mess?
Yeah big mess for sure.. just schedule it same time as oil change easy peezy.😆
Informative but the music was louder than you're voice and very hard to hear what was being said!
Thanks for your feedback, i agree music was rendered too loud, my latest vids have much better audio now...
I prefer wheels with a lip, everything here is that style. But you going to flip and I guess that's what sells now. Go for it! Dam I wish I could buy that Lincoln in background. In 07 I had an 88 Lincoln cut the top off with a sawzall... tomorrow is 17yrs sober😃
Congrats on the 17yrs though..👊, yeah im still undecided, but i think they will fill out wheel well better.
I tried this and when i unplugged the sensor the car shut off .. any idea what that could be ?

@@l.a.xl.a.x1810 no problem, i have some really great footage coming as well, just trying to balance time evenly..
Do they ride pretty good
Yeah they do, just make sure you do it on a lift, to get the heighth right. It's alot of work to do with just jackstands and jack, speaking from experience.🤣
Come to NC and help a brother out 07 Roadster
what's wrong it?
Got some small dings , on it! But I could definitely use the master class of learning to paint 🎨. You did great work! Working on the transmission now, looking at rebuilding it. Want to have new parts for longevity.
@@socom1633 Nice, yeah there's definitely alot of steps to learn. It's definitely an art. Maybe in the near future ill do a how to paint series..lol
Hell yeah!! request? video on your method of knowing what nut an bolt goes where, when putting it all back together..... AWESOME JOB 👏👏👏👏
Thanks man, so part of it i come from a family of engineers, nasa, aerospace, so my brain is able to remember all details of the dismantle. Number two, i like to keep bolts in individual baggies put near dissembled parts to help with reassembly..
What was the suspension he had on before? Were they trash I think I was looking at them so I want the feedback before I buy
yeah he had another ebay coilover kit, but ended hitting a curb and the strut tower was bent. So he just decided to replace with a new set. The new kit is cool , just a make sure you have it done on a lift to get the ride height done the first time. It takes several back and forth adjustments to get right when using jacks and stands.
Look'in good!👏👏👏👏
Thanks man🙏
So I followed the entire video perfectly and the compressor will not engage at all. I can see the clutch not spinning, and the radiator fan never comes on. I got the pressure up to 50 psi while filling and nothing happens. Any ideas of what to check? Already reseated the wire for the compressor.
First What model car do you have?

Dude your content is awesome. Im gonna do the same thing, i went to the junkyard an got a fog light an rear inner tail light to do a test and wow they came out great. I used 220 grit untill the powder coming off wasn't yellowish in color. Then to 400 grit then 1000 grit then 2000 grit then 3000 grit and clear coated with Rust-Oleum gloss clear coat w/UV protection.

Shes down for bit, oil in the water, not ready to tackle diag yet, got thr z4 project to finish first.
I have 06 E90 with eBay led headlights but now the driver low beam doesn’t work but high beams do I also connected it to other side and still won’t work is this the frm?
Did you try the working light on the otherside? I mean is one side full lights working?? If you plug in and its the same scenerio, then its either your headlight module, or the frm that controls everything. Hope this helps🙏
@@findfixxflip yes I did try that the light turns on and everything just not the low beam and the passenger side works perfectly just driver low beam doesn’t work but high beam does work. also would resetting the frm work?
@@Isacc01 So this is a very common issue with bmw.. the frm continously goes bad.. You can tell by running a scan and you will have a bunch of frm fault codes.. Look for one on EBAY cost me about $90, then use my frm walkthrough video to program it, or it will cost about $225 to have it programed.
Thanks a Billion worked for me at last Best tutorial on the subject on KZread. Hands down. Big up 👊🏾

Yes you are correct, just do your oil change and change the sensor and you are good to go 😎 thanks for watching...
great video and will be replacing it this week.
Thank you very much🙏
I unplugged the sensor and the fan tried to engage and spin but stopped - issue seems to be in my fan but conflicted on replacing whole assembly or if there is a relay replacement that would fix it? Any suggestions much appreciated! I have replaced the water pump and thermostat but fan still sounds like a fighter jet after short drives.
So first off, what model series do you have?? Some have a relay system, and others just sensors and fusible links. Most fans have a control unit that goes mutiple speeds based on temp... the fan goes bad quite often and cant properly read temp.. So lets start with model first.. k🙏
@@findfixxflip 2011 328i xdrive
@@Dipsht-wm1vl So i would definitely replace the fan unit then,, If the fan would have come on , then you would be looking at a different issue. What you can do though if you are proficient with electrical, is run a wire to your positive and negative and see if you have constant power.. The small wire is your control wire coming from the dme..
@@findfixxflip You’re Legend. I installed a new fan and that seems to have fixed the issue! 🤞🤝

Hey so I got my bulbs changed and same thing happened, whole passenger side headlight isn’t working but the weird thing is headlight started to have condensation after rainfall and this never happened before. I saw the tech do it he went in through the fender liner and opened the low beam lamp cover and changed bulb from there, could he not have sealed this properly? If so how can I seal it properly. Every time it rains there’s condensation there now
Yes, sounds like it isnt sealed correctly, maybe missed a tab when locking in
