Been more than a little while since I worked on a '67...but shouldn't it have the round cover in primary so it can be timed with a light on the rotor/timing stake? Looks like the primary in the vid does not have the cover. Old guys like me have bad memories...help from anyone out there?

Rode over 35k miles on my last bike, never laid it down or had any negative situations folk lore or fact it doesn’t matter to me it worked. Picking up a new bike this week and im almost paranoid now because im if the camp it must be gifted and as low as possible previous owner had one mounted to the forks I feel like i either have to return it or regift it but i feel like i cant ask someone to buy me one because they would need to believe what do i do relocate dudes bells as close to the ground and consider it a gift from him or try to get someone to buy me one i asked a fellow ride if he had one snd he said he wasnt a believer even with multiple lay downs and minor incidents he wont put one on if i buy him one

Love your work. I've been a pre unit owner/rider for nearly 50years but find I'm still learning stuff from you. One thing though , please don't refer to those threads as Whitworth, they are Cycle Thread aka BSC or CEI, but you know that :) 😀

Another take on this...the thread under discussion, specified by Joseph Whitworth in 1840's, was the world's 1st national screw thread standard, and later adopted as British Standard. Then there were various modernizations of the standard, but all relate to, and trace lineage back to Whitworth's original standard. I think it fair to refer to it as Whitworth. My credentials...60 + years with motorcycling, graduate of multipleTri-BSA-Norton factory (branch) mechanics schools at Duarte CA location, 50 + years precision machinist working on everything up to, and including military, and classified research projects. But, I still learn something new everyday, so maybe it is not proper to call these threads Whitworth. Just my $.02 worth...

The third bike in the series (the executioner) should have a picture of judge dreed (from the comic 2000 ad ,english comic ,i think you had it in America) .He is the ultimate judge ,jury and executioner !!!!. @@weemsmotorco how you undo the plug and extract the trap. I done mine with an impact driver and a big drill bit. As you said in the video use the correct tool. I am in the UK and don’t have that many firms around here that do that sort of work
