    I'm not Christian, Im muslim but even I believe in the same sentiment in this video. In my relgion it's forbidden to wear wigs or extension because it shows you're ungrateful for what God blessed you with. Our natural hair is a blessing and personally designed by the One that created the universe and beyond. thank you for this video, love

    Honestly , Black people always attack women who wear weave and make up. Mean while , we forget God hates liars , cowards , sloth ( laziness) all 3 of those which runs rampant in Africa and black community!

    I think her hair growth is mainly genetics along with good practices in the sense that she and someone else could do the same exact routine and her hair would still be way longerrr

    @@bongiweqilishane4379 sweetie do you know that you can be the only one in your nuclear family that has the genes for long hair? Im guessing youre a fan of hers and have been following her tips and all, is your hair at waist length? I dont understand why a lot of people like to downplay the massive role that genetics plays on hair growth... google it she has the genes for it and took proper care of her hair hence the reason she can retain that much length i.e her maximum potential... do you understand where i am coming from? I am not trying to downplay the role her haircare practices have because it is definitely from her hair care practices that she is able to retain that much length... for lack of better words, the reason she even has that much hair growing from her scalp is genetics but the reason she is able to RETAIN that length is cos of hair care practices.... DO YOU GET?

    I wont lie, mothers putting weave on their little daughters is problematic. This comes from mothers who did not work on their own hair enough to understand it and pass on knowledge to their daughters, so they do what they know how to do, get a weave on their daughter *smh.* I am all for weaves, but we need to also sit with and understand our natural hair as well. We can only teach our daughters what we know.

    Not praising a childs natural beauty while growing up, especially through puberty only fosters feelings of insecurity, self hate and low self esteem as an adult.

    Black individuals' hair grows naturally in tight curls, resembling sponges. Constantly trying to make it resemble Caucasian hair may lead to hair loss and baldness by age 40 or 50. Leave your hair alone.

  • @thewordsmith5440
    @thewordsmith5440Ай бұрын

    Leaving it alone can also cause breakage.

  • @so9487
    @so9487Ай бұрын

    @@thewordsmith5440 Who told you that leaving your hair alone would cause it to break? It breaks because you keep trying to run a comb through it. Just have a haircut occasionally, wash it daily, moisturize it, and run your fingers through it. Hair is not a living thing and does not create beauty; that's why most of the top-paid African models have short natural hair. You are not Asians or European, therefore trying to emulate their hair type will only cause serious damage to your follicles. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqanr82rdrbRdLQ.html

    Not using combs as often is a game changer! My mother (who doesn't have much hair and complains about it) gets angry at me for not combing my daughters hair often, but that is the reason why her hair is down her back! Now I'm not combing my hair as often this is month one. I've been finger detangling and brushing.
