I bought a 2024 performance model and for me it has been a disappointment… the screen works the way it wants, sometimes when I get in it starts right away, sometimes it would take 1:30 min to start!! So annoying!! Air conditioning fans they go up no matter how many times it put them back the way I want, same thing with key fob, the car sense it when it wants!! Handling is definitely and issue, front and rear motors aren’t perfectly synchronized, you feel it in sports mode specifically after a couple of degrees pushing the car uphills! Brakes at high speeds are not rewarding cause they have you wondering around if you need to stop fast! Air suspension is well set on the rear but in the front is way too soft, don’t understand that setting, and there’s nothing to do about it! And last, but not least… that annoying battery cooling fan!!!!!! Isn’t this the loudest electric car out there????? So much potencial, but right now after having 6 other electric cars, this being my first Chinese brand, I give it a 3 in a scale from 1-10! My expectations when I first bought it was a solid 10, now, after 3 months, just want to sale it!!

Hello @kayip_c. How many km have you driven with your 001? Has anything changed or is everything ok? Are the seats comfortable for long trips?
hmm it's less than 10.000k km that's for sure...i don't drive daily in the car...i usually use the car during the weekends alot. yes in the meantime the 1.1 update and 1.1.2 update has been released so they have fixed a fair share of bugs and weird software issues the last couple of months...for me the furthest i've driven was Bruges Belgium which was like a 2,5 hour drive but the seats are comfortable to sit in for long periods of time.
@@kayip_c Thank you so much for your prompt responses. I feel safe now and I'm going to trade in my 2020 e-tron 55 for the Zeekr 001 GT+, thank God. I was worried about the comfort of the seats and the lighting system for the night, because the dealership doesn't do night test drives, but I saw your video "The Zeekr 001 Night Drive". what did you think of the club lounge? can you get items/snacks anytime outside of the specific allocated times (i.e., snack, afternoon tea, and cocktail)
I thought it was really nice! The Menu changes a bit during the week so you won't get bored with the same things...but you've paid for it indirectly in your hotel room price though...so yea if you don't make use of it...it's definitely your own loss. But to get back to your question...the answer is No. It's not a buffet that stays open the whole day. they do allow you to grab drinks after 20:00 P.M. i think i was still in the lounge at 20:30 and could still grab a Tsingtao beer...the food really closes down at 20:00P.M. though. The Lounge closes at 22:00 P.M. (most of the time there were like business people working on their laptops there...hardly children so perfect for if you need some work done)

Really valuable video but honestly, you need to trim your content. This video could easily be 17 minutes without all the filler and constant repetition. Editing is a skill.

But the material, paint, quality control are not the same for zeekrs made for European and Chinese markets
@@UlviAhmadov hmmm is an interesting statement I don’t know anything about the manufacturing standard Europe vs china so I can’t say anything about it…but for sure the options list is totally different in comparison what China offers

hi, can you please update us if the satellite system work or not?
@@ghanim7007 what do you exactly mean with the satellite system? As far as I know the internal navigation system works fine with 1.1 and onwards or are you referring to something else?
@@kayip_c i mean satellite communication that come with the car as option?
@@ghanim7007 not sure about that there was never an option “Satellite Communication” when I ordered the car. A quick google search it says facelift/001 FR which is not available yet in Europe.

How is the rear window in the rain, since there is no wiper?
Visibility is okay because the roof spoiler actually blocks some of the rain but even when there are raindrops it is no issue in my opinion

I think it’s 6 European countries for now UK isn’t one of them but who knows in the future
@kayip_c thanks. I love the design and performance of 001 but couldn't justify the massive price difference. Once the new anti China tariffs are imposed it'll get even worse. Shame!
@@xMI55IONx yeah the zeekr 001 is getting more expensive with 2000 euro at least the Privilige edition...it went up from 67.490 to 69.490 for exactly the same car. Don't forget 1000 delivery costs so the car costs in the end 70.490...i'm really curious how much other countries need to pay for

Thank you for your kind words and support! 🙂the All new zeekr which is released in China is indeed superior to the European models but I have confidence that this 2024 model will come to Europe sooner or later (it's just that Zeekr doesn't know when either).

Very interesting video. Concerning the width: how easy is it to handle in tight parking spaces? How is the turning circle in practice?
Actually in practice the car handles pretty well you can park the car easily because of all the cameras. Tight spots you can turn on the bird view so you literally see the curbs so you won’t damage your wheels but it’s also a bit your driving experience I guess …if you are used to like big cars this will be a cake to drive 😎
Chinese version in 2024 get new facelift called "all new 001" It received minor changes, such as the type of the battery and motor this increased range and increased horsepower, they add tow in facelift and the biggest change was in the interior, including increasing the number of speakers, screen, and dashboard, in addition to reducing the price, but European or rest of world 001 get 2024 old model, im waiting lunch "all new 001" to buy it.
The thing is that zeekr doesn’t know when the Chinese facelift version will come to Europe (I already asked it at zeekr support) also the 007 is not known when it is coming…currently there are no plans for that but I’m guessing it’s just a matter of time ( I’m gunning for end 2025)

probably yes but zeekr does not know when it will come to europe (i already asked them) but my assumption would be late 2025 (because 2024 is all to push out the Zeekr in 6 european countries)

It is possible to move 001 back and forward in Chineese version using both remote key or APP.
I think it is possible to do it with the Chinese version but I can’t confirm that …fun fact is that the european keyfob is prepared to do this but it has not yet been implemented. I’d like to be optimistic about this 😅
Thanks for this video! Zeekr EVs are developed and designed in Gothenburg, Sweden by almost 1000 employees. Zeekr cars was first released in Sweden followed by the Netherlands and some other European countries, so there is no "Netherland market". The price difference seems to be the EU tax on Chinese made EVs. The range diffefence is bc of different measuments

According to what Zeekr Europe announced they are going to push the Zeekr brand to 6 countries by the end of 2024 Netherlands, Germany, France, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. but fair enough over the price...EU tax are always necessary I Guess but I think it was a nice observation how much price difference there was (i think people will still buy it nevertheless).

Chinese EV's were overpriced in EU before the EU EV Tariff was introduced - at this point it still hasn't been introduced. It is the only reason I agree with the tariff, to product consumers from greedy manufacturers.
@@nameberry220 well that is true but that was a bit expected as the cars need to be transported all the way to Europe…but still a price difference of 20-25k is a big blow for the European market

you should mention that chinese version is a mid-cycle restyle with a better battery (800V), newer engines (780hp dual motor) and new exterior and interior. They sell outdated version as a 'new' car for a 20k bigger price, brilliant! And people still buy it
Yes for sure Zeekr Europe definitely is making money on this as the price is 20-25k euro over-charged. But if you include all the options that you can select in China it is 15k overcharging (still alot). But there are no other choices to buy (and importing a chinese version a lot of things won't work in europe...so I wouldn't make that risky bet) so people will still buy it indeed
Worth mentioning is that we got import taxes to Europe that is the entire price difference more or less. So "selling an outdated version for a bigger price" is not correct. Also, we got approval processes in Europe that makes it hard to release something as fast as in China.
@@HotelGolf82 Yeah i think we shouldn't forget about the import taxes and costs to bring it all the way to the netherlands...it's just that alot of things people forget (it is still a chinese car but most people only see the price and argue about that). But talking about "outdated" is kinda weird because there is nothing wrong with the car that is being sold in Europe. the new facelift wasn't announced when I bought the car so with the knowledge back then I wouldn't know. but even if i knew I knew for sure this facelift model would take at least 1-2 years before it comes to the european market...and i needed a car within 3 months so yeah that was not an option for me

Range on Chinese site is CLTC which is ultra optimistic. In Europe it's WLTP which is a bit less optimistic. For the prices, you add the transport and the taxes (10% + now 20% extra starting from July) and some more markup to make up for the price war in China.
Fair enough CLTC is probably rainbows and sunshine indeed...for me the real range is around 450 and in most ideal circumstances 500km. But yeah i've heard about the 20% price increase indeed. Will China also get that Price increase? As far as I know they wanted to raise it in west right?
@@kayip_cChina will not get this, as this is something the European union has decided to hinder the competition from Chinas car manufacturers. The issue is, not even the European car manufacturers want this tax as their market in China is bigger then it's European counterpart. So, when China fights back and raise their import taxes on European vehicles, the European car manufacturers will loose market shares in China.... Eg.. Jobs in Europe. Big win for EU. Not.
@@HotelGolf82 it's an interesting discussion they said something about "Unfair Competition" but to be honest only the classic car manufacturers are probably saying this (i'm eyeing Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW etc) But let's see what it does to the prices...if the prices go up 20k then you can forget it that europeans will buy this car...i think it does something with the freedom rights of car manufacturers pricing...when you are a new car manufacturer you can't even decide your own prices anymore? I think that's a bad direction to be honest...but we will wait until the verdict (nothing else we can do)

Would be nice if the cameras would record movement around the car, shown in the app.
I think there are these kind of Gimball type of camera's which track human movement but that's a whole different level of reviewing i think (instead of holding the camera in your hand)
