I love this video! Great explanations and so much better than showing on an old hand horse. I very much wish we had captions for those of us with hearing issues tho. I'll watch regardless, and I'll help my friend understand bc its worth it.

I was just about to comment on the horse’s head position when you mentioned it. Some top level trainers say you have to walk facing in the direction you want the horse to go but here is this little guy paying close attention to Isidro regardless of Isidro’s position. IE is my favourite trainer.

Kudos ma'am, you made a wonderful horse! IMO, it's less about what goes wrong as it is about the horses reaction and recovery. That horse showed repeatedly what a solid mind she has. Anybody would be very fortunate to have her. Disappointing that being gaited worked against her - it's like criticizing someone for having an accent. Just plain wrong. If I may ask, where is she now?

You both are such great Mustang trainers, but working in a stall brings it to a whole other level. My goodness, don't they have a birthing stall, or two stalls they can open up as one? Someone needs to give you the same setup you have in AZ! Isidro is a true horse whisperer.

Look at those ears, always listening to your husband, and such an inquisitive and interested boy. He should learn quickly. And I love the fact that you two don't like stalls, I heard a vet once say a horse should never be left in a stall. Lock the stall up and throw away the keys
