I live there
@@Roblox_cuti465 where?
Thats clean damn
at 68, considering moving here, retired and TX heat is too much now -- you can do a lot here very cheaply
Our median price point in Greater Pittsburgh is around $300k. I have represented quite a few people just like you…retirees looking for more affordable lifestyle, safety & things to do. Let me know if I can help.
@@briansellspittsburgh 300K is about std. anywhere today for decent home
if you think traffic is bad, come to Houston, Dallas, or Austin -- it's a total mess
been there thirty yrs. ago, nice town, easy to get around on bus,
Yep, PAT bus system is great!
In brief, born and raised in Sewickley. Graduated in Class of 1953 SHS. Delivered newspapers [Post Gazette, as well as the Sun Telegraph; caddied at the ACC in Summer [Arnie Palmer won State Amateur Championship--1952 I seem to recall] ; pin boy Edgeworth Club in Winter; worked at the Sewickley Cemetary Sophomore - Senior years; Korean War Veteran. Best little town in America that helped make me who, and what I am today!
LOVE hearing it!
I been there once i didn't explore the city because we only go there for school opening for my daughter but I'm planning to go there again soon from montgomery county PA❤
Luv ❤️ to have Montgomery folks back!

Your video making is great. Your content idea is very good. But there are some problems in your channel. If you allow me, I will share some information with you. Best regards *Thank you*
Do you want your KZread video reach to the right parson....?
So, I know this video isn't the most recent anymore and maybe nobody's even watching the comments, but might as well try! I was wondering how folks figure how friendly the city is to someone with Type 1 diabetes? That's pretty much the only thing I can't seem to figure out online by myself.
Maybe contact a diabetes doctor & get in the Pittsburgh know about it. I’m not sure any city would be friendly/unfriendly. Isn’t it a diet relevant disease?
@@briansellspittsburgh It's not really to do with diet in my case, not anymore, anyway. Type 1 is pretty easy on restrictions if you've got a good handle on insulin intake. The thing that I'm wondering about is... I tend to be stupidly forgetful, and I once left my insulin injector behind at a restaurant and it took me forever to slog through the bureaucracy to get a replacement at a very, very large hospital. That's unlikely to happen again, but I wanna cover all my bases and find someone to ask about whether it'd be a big problem to get something like that sorted out if it's at a hospital other than my home one. So yeah, I'll probably reach out to an insider in the local health department! :)
Pittsburgh has trees, I mean lots of trees. Trees fall on cars, power lines, and houses. There are steep hills that have never been developed for homes, business or industry. The only thing on these hills are trees.
On a positive note, trees equal shade and beautified the area, especially in the Spring and the fall.
@@briansellspittsburgh Pittsburgh is almost like living in a Swiss Mountain Community
Glad you think the hospital is fun.
You missed the worst sticker shock to newcomers-PA has the 3rd highest gas tax in the country. I came here to see about Pittsburgh, my growing-up home town... not a vanity selfie with fluttering jazz hands that thinks I don't know how many two is unless he holds up two fingers, can't figure out the difference between baseball and football unless he demonstrates it, and has waaaaay too many distracting and unnecessary on-screen and audio special effects. Show more Pittsburgh (which is what most people came here to see) and less you
Thanks for your comment, Jet. Noted.
While in Pittsburgh you must try Rico’s in RossTwp.
Let's not kid ourselves, Pittsburgh is a vastly majority white city (83% as of 2024). There is a severe lack of diversity. I disagree with you on that.
Thats terrible....
Dope. Im thinking about bonus would be that you have rc binders for your windows as well.
Cool
All cons, no pros
🤣🤣🤣
Merging, 376, downtown traffic and construction detours (or lack thereof) are the worst here.
Y’all can possibly be the third city to get an NBA team. Pittsburgh Condors team name Black, gold yellow, grey and white team colors
Correction, the first thing to know about Pittsburgh is that it’s a dump. Actually now that the police are only responding to emergencies in progress and from 3-7am there will only be 25 officers on duty for the entire city it’s a dumpster fire. There’s an unhappy vibe there. In general the demeanor of the people is negative. I lived there until age 35 and got out, best move I’ve ever made. Don’t believe me, move there and see for yourself.
Yes, contact me & move here to find out for yourself. Oh, and nothing good happens after midnight. Sleep from 3-7 & you'll be a.o.k.
ritual house is top tier too
my new favorite 😍
nice
Thanks❤
Cons. Police are non existent at night. If you are white Do Not walk done the city streets. You will be accosted, robbed, beaten or worse. Mainly by MAGA extremists. LOL
We are also considering Apex homes to build a single-family home in the Pittsburgh area and will be visiting the production facility. As you can imagine, hopefully many of my questions will be answered by simply observing their building process. From your experience, are there any questions not in the norm you would recommend we ask?
Matt, thanks for the comment. Well, I mean, there's a million questions LO.L. you should have your builder with you if you have one and you gotta make sure your builder is modular home experienced.
@@briansellspittsburghHi Brian, yes, I actually contacted Apex and they provided me with a contractor they use in the Pittsburgh area so we're covered on that front.
Your videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Can I talk with you Brian?
Hi there, I have visited your KZread channel. Your channel is good, and your content quality is so attractive. But there are some mistakes here. Your content quality is excellent. But if you can solve these problems, you can do well on KZread. And if you want, I can do these things.
Hi Brian You need to improve your seo optimize to rank in KZread organically
Great content
Back in the day with the hippie era was the best time!!!!
👍🏼😂
This is a really great video! I have binged just several before and you not only put all of the information but even more than anyone else! I really enjoyed it. We are currently looking at a job there. I am the hesitant one.... My husband is he excited one. Just seriously on the fence for a few things. Thanks for such thorough video though! Great pace too!!! The long intros etc. are hard when you're trying to comb through. Yours are perfect!! 🙌
😂Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed. Why so hesitant, Pittsburgh is great! Feel free to reach out directly if you need help understanding the area. [email protected] or 412.901.7522
Thanks for the recommendations. If you haven't tried Morcilla. GO DO IT. Spork is great, fig and ash i personally thought was meh at best. Those are the last 3 placea we have tried that were hivh reviews, etc. But Morcilla, especially for a romantic date night type evening, is as good as it gets. Wife and i ate there several months ago and we still talk about it a LOT. Best meal I've ever eaten, and i am not a young man, nor am i shy about eating out lol! Fantastic spot. Gonna try out a couple on the lsit you gave , thanks again.
That's tapas, correct?
@briansellspittsburgh tapas, then an absolutely ridiculous main dish. I had no idea what to expect for the main course, so we went down through nearly the entire small plate menu...then our main course came and each of our plates were literally enough to fill 2 people. I can't say enough good about the entire experience, I really can't. It's a small place, i know you said you lean towards a more vibrant atmosphere, so it is worth mentioning that morcilla vibe is more laid back, focus is on the wow factor of the food. The service was fantastic, vibe was fantastic and most importantly, the food was absolutely fantastic. I honestly can't imagine how a dining experience could be any better, I'd be very hard pressed to find even the smallest of a critique.
so cool that have a roller hockey dek!
And the two parks in the Squirrel hill area are biggest (when combined) than New York cities. People just need to come here and see it for themselves and they will find out how the misconceptions go away fast.
I’m visiting Pittsburgh from Virginia Beach and I made reservations for Monteray bay 🎉
That's an awesome place! Let me know what you think.
I'm just opening the video, so not sure who all is called out...but MAKE A RESERVATION AT MORCILLA NOW. SERIOUSLY.
No cons
T-R-A-I-N-T-R-A-C-K-S Across the street !!!!!!! That's a horror that never sleeps.
I'm a Behavior Specialist on Long Island looking to eventually move to Pittsburgh... is there a job market for a BCBA or working with the developmentally disabled population?
Thanks for the note, unfortunately I'm just in real estate so I'm not familiar with your specialty field and what Pittsburgh might have to offer. Maybe you can lean on someone in your field for the answer?
My neighborhood . I love Shadyside
The city is litter ridden and way too many homeless junkies and alcoholics in the downtown. Town is not safe after dark.
A lot of good information I learn a lot from your channel
Thank you. Stay tuned‼️
Awesome video
