    Please check the audio level of a video, before uploading. Even with KZread at maximum volume and Windows audio mixer at maximum volume, I was forced to turn my desktop speakers up from 25 percent to 50 percent, just to make it possible to clearly hear what was being said. Also, with such an instructional video, _ALWAYS_ embed subtitles in it. Don't rely on the viewer having to click on the KZread subtitles button. Put bluntly, this video being in portrait mode, having poor audio, and having no subtitles, turns a potentially useful video into a useless one.

    This video does not show you how there is any connection to the bottom of the machine. It only shows you the connection to the top. Absolute worthless video. Why take the time to do something half ass?

    ALWAYS always hold your phone in landscape (sideways) when shooting video. Didn't you guys see that you are losing 66% of the screen by holding your phone in portrait? Those two big black bars on the sides of the video equal two-thirds of the screen space completely useless...

    I need help, my Dad has a homefill system from Aerocare.. They recently replaced the bottom oxygen concentrator for a quieter one.. We are on our second top piece that fills. Its not doing anything, I have checked the clear hose that runs from concentrator to the filler and nothing comes out. No air do I feel.. Not sure what's happening but no tanks are filling.. The light indicates they are forever eternally filling filling filling, they never get to full... Not even after 24 hours, Please help !!

They just didnt want to come out on Labor day, they are lazy and uncaring and I am so close to changing companies. That's why I went to You Tube for help.

    Im confused how to turn it off/on. Like yeah I get it clockwise to close but what side of the tank must i have in front of me for it to be clockwise. Like what if I have it on the wrong side and I’m actually turning it counter clockwise and therefore turning it on 😩 does that make sense

    Please make sure to always have the regulator gauge facing you. Proceed to turn the toggle on top of the tank clockwise to close (turn right) and counter clockwise to open (turn left). If you need further instructions, please contact us at 262.786.9870 and ask to speak with the Service Intake department.

    I have Two travel cylinders.. both worked fine for the first week. Now one of the cylinders makes a whining sound when it’s on the fill station. The other tank does not and fills fine. I haven’t found out if the cylinder that makes the whining sound will fill because I don’t want to leave it on the fill station, filling when it’s obviously making a noise it shouldn’t. I switched the gauge from the cylinder that works fine to the cylinder that “whines” and it still made the “whining” noise, so it’s not an issue with the gauge. If it’s not the gauge or the fill station what else could it be? Could the cylinder be damaged? Could it have gotten knocked over or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    Have you ever had an issue where it keeps cycling between low o2 and filling with the concentrator set at 2LPM? It fills tanks just fine if the flow meter is set below 2LPM, but the manual says we should be able to use it up to 3LPM while filling a tank (perfecto2). This machine has only 151 hours on the concetrator and 52 hours on the homefill. Filters are clean, do you think the sieve beds need repoured already? Even though the units have low hours, they are a few years old, just not used often. I'm not sure if not using one for long periods can cause issues like this.

    I am a caregiver, and am having a problem with My Pt's Home fill machine, In that neither of his tanks will fill above 1000 PSI. the tanks are a little larger then the one you showed in the video. Not sure what the letter allocation of the tank is. But the tank valve is closed, both o2 Concentrater and Tank filler are on, Foam Filters are clean, o2 output level to Pt. is set to 2 L.P.M, tank is properly seated, And the regulator is removed from tank. I dont know whats wrong. I practically, drained the tank well below the 1500 PSI lower limit B4 starting charging. My Pt has an important Dr's App. this Wed Jul 11th, and if this is'nt resolved, he wont be able to go. is there anything else I might have missed that I could do, B4 having to call his respiratory, equipment Supply company to schedule a maint. visit? the machine is theirs, as a rental. thanks in advance :)

    Thank you for your quick reply. I understand your perspective as a manufacturer regarding the extension cord issue. I'm presently using two home concentrators, one being an Inogen Home model. Both are connected to power using fairly heavy duty extension cords, a necessity in my home setup. There have been no difficulties at all in over a year of use, specifically no warm extension cords. Also, there must be many concentrator users that have RVs/campers. I've looked for info online about whether concentrators can be used with 12 volt DC to 110v AC inverters. I've found surprisingly little info on this. Do you know if home style concentrators can be run from properly-sized inverters, and if so if a modified sine-wave inverter is fine or is a pure sine wave inverter required? Many thanks.

    eqlzr2 -- We would like to clarify . . . we are not the manufacturer of the equipment, but a vendor that provides them in several capacities. We are simply presenting the manufacturer's recommendations. We agree that there are many individuals looking for this kind of information; however, we are unable to provide the level of detail you are looking for in this instance. We recommend contacting the manufacturer directly to obtain their input on the best way of setting up your needs. If you do come across other instructions that are helpful and would be willing to share your findings with us, it would be appreciated. Again, we wish you all the best!

    Thanks, I mis-spoke. I understand you're not a manufacturer. You've hit upon the crux of the problem I'm encountering in getting an answer to my question from manufacturers. They are generally vague, or don't even know what an inverter is without my explaining it to them. Therefore, I don't have much confidence in their advice. Actually, I just got off the phone with Tech Support at Inogen, and I had to go through 2 people who said they were Tech Support, but then they had to ask a "Senior" Tech Support person who finally said it was OK to run an Inogen at Home Concentrator off of a regular modified sine wave inverter. Now I'm going to try calling the Tech Support people for your Invacare Perfecto2 V and see what they say. OK, I just got off the phone with Invacare Tech Support, and they said they've never tested to see if one of their concentrators will run off of an inverter, and they said they weren't going to test it either. So, surprisingly, that's the answer.

    Thank you for your comment, eqlzr2. In our 40+ years of experience with Respiratory Care, we have never worked with a manufacturer who would recommend using an extension cord with their oxygen concentrators. Unfortunately, using an extension cord is a fire hazard. We wish you the best of luck and hope you find what you are looking for.

    does the bottom concentrator need to be turned on when filling the portable tank?

  • @homecaremedicalaerocare3983
    @homecaremedicalaerocare39837 жыл бұрын

    Great question. We are unable to upload the instruction manual to this You Tube site; however, we are quoting from the Invacare Homefill II instruction manual found on page 20 . . . The answer is yes, you need to have the concentrator or “bottom machine” on. The concentrator creates the oxygen and delivers the oxygen to the compressor or “top machine” via the supply line or “curly cord”. Without the bottom unit on, your tanks will remain empty. Compressor Operation Checklist Each time the HomeFill Compressor is used to fill a cylinder, complete the following checklist: - Ensure the concentrator has been On for at least thirty minutes. Refer to the concentrator Owner’s Manual. - Perform the prefill inspection on the cylinder. - Connect the cylinder to the compressor. - Push the compressor power switch to the On ( ) position. - Examine the indicator lights on the control panel. - Disconnect and remove the full cylinder. - Push the compressor power switch to the Off (O) position. - If filling another cylinder, repeat this checklist If you have any further questions, please call Home Care Medical’s Service Intake team at 262.786.9870 ext. 422 or via email at [email protected]. Take care!
