I'm female though, (with long hair) and I didn't want to sound so literally by saying that. I really hope it didn't come across that way either. Anyway.... thank you thank you thank you, and thank you SO MUCH again!!😀😀 I've been racking my brains a million times over with this, trying different ways to transfer or copy some of my pics from "Google Photos" to "My Gallery" and none of them worked.🤨🤨 I decided to download the "Files By Google" app as you suggested and used it copy/ move my pucs in the way you explained. I only wanted to move over 1 photo instead of a few at once, but still.... this app worked a MASSIVE TREAT for me. YAAAAYYY!! FINALLY!!😀😀👏👏💜 I think there has been a slight update with this app (Files From Google) since this video has made though. I couldn't find the "MORE" option on this app on my phone in the section you showed with the list of other apps. (for sharing) It wasn't there. But in the same list of other apps on my phone, I saw the icon that represented the "Files By Google App" and I was able to use it following your description to transfer a photo / photos from this app to my Gallery, and it worked a MASSIVE treat!! Yaaaayyyyy!!😀😀 You're a massive life saver! Thank you so so much again!!😀😀

  Sorry to say for me this video doesn't bring much value. It simple thoughts by creating N number of accounts and start using them 15 GB for each. I was thinking to get some techie ideas on this issue but disappointed.

  Thanks for the easy tutorial! The "coffee shop ambiance" video that I like to play in the background while working is only an hour long, so in an 8-hour workday, that's a lot of manual toggling back and forth. Appreciate this easy fix!

  Hi, super informative but there is not an opt out permission for me its just says "When you give people permissions on your channel, they can upload, comment, and take other public actions. They can also view private or hidden content. Learn more" What do I do in this case?

  I’m kinda confused, I’ve created both Google accounts and I shared both accounts. Do I have to upload photos to one account and wait until it also saves to the shared account? If so do I have to delete the already backed up photos from the first account to continue to backup new photos?

  We'll see if the popup which FORCED me to click on, doesn't pop up again. Threw my phone into the closet door because of this. I hate just about all technology past 2000, dryers buzz, microwaves beep 50 TRILLION times until you shut them the F- up. And now my damn phone REFUSES TO LET ME LOOK AT PHOTOS unless I turn on backup. It's enough to make you want to lock the top 50 employees of these companies who design in these anti-features in a room with a 9500 lb person who has the flatulence of death 💀

  Many thanks. Very useful but how do I find the downloaded photos, please? I want to save them on my pc (Windows 11) so I opened the email saying that a copy of my photos had been created, and clicked the Download button. What next? Thanks again

  My iPhone 15 pro max does not offer a Recover Storage window option. But it does at the bottom of the manage storage screen it does say Learn about storage. When you click it there’s is nothing offering recover storage. So do you have any ideas on what to do at this point?

  Thank you for the kind question Sanyo - yes the Google Photos app is cruel and doesn't offer the option - we can only see it on the photos.google.com site. So we can either go there on the browser in our phone or use a laptop or tablet to go to that site. Hope this helps and good luck with your storage

  One thing people may not know: The images shared and saved will not be in their original size and some google photos features may not work.

  Hi Neil, I loved this video! I have been buying extra storage and this has really been an eye-opening alternative. I am just confused about the deleting part. So far, I have my original account (19/15Gb used), a new one for photos, from which I uploaded the photos from original account in storage saver mode, and has taken up 7gb/15gb space. I also have the shared photos between both accounts, with autosave on both accounts. Out of these three places where my photos are, which one(s) do I delete, and how does it ensure there no is no space taken up in either account? I would also prefer to delete them via the google photos app rather than connected to a laptop, do I do anything different via that scenario?
