Eaglecrest is Juneau, Alaska’s community-owned and operated ski area, averaging 320″ of snowfall across 640 acres of big mountain terrain with a dedicated learning area and a 1620′ vertical drop.
Powder lasts longer at Eaglecrest. There are no roads into Juneau, Alaska. You have to live here, fly, or ferry to experience this powder paradise. Untracked snow, ridge hikes, and breathtaking views are more common than lift lines. Spread out and set your own tracks!
What we lack in luxury, we make up for in charm, solitude, and affordability. There’s no need to rush at Eaglecrest. Fixed-grip double chairlifts bring you up, and the snow is waiting at the top. Adult lift tickets are only $62, and Eaglecrest’s Snowsports School has some of the most affordable lessons in North America!
Eaglecrest’s regular operating schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, with daily operations over Christmas & Spring Breaks and MLK & Presidents’ Weekends.

What is the best month to ski Juneau?
Al Shaw passed away on Feb 13 2024. He was very instrumental in getting Eagle Crest started.
I am so sorry he passed. He will be missed. 😞

Hey it’s my class
juneau alaska wind and rain, short season and a lot of heavy crud. flowing groomers on narrow skis is just as much fun
I want to see aurora and I am going to move to the USA. I know that Aurora happens in Alaska however for me the most important thing is skiing. Decided to research and I see these cool slopes 🤤 Now I have chosen where exactly I am going to move.
You should leave it undiscovered you ducebags!
I loved eagle crest wish I could have gone back
Promo*SM 😂
I have Skied all over North America, and I must say Eaglecrest is in my top 5. I grew up there in the 80's and skied hundreds of times at that mountain. Memories Ill never forget. As far as I know mr and my Friends were the first people to Snowboard at Eaglecrest back in 1985. We made it till about noon and the mountain manager called us in to his office and told us we couldnt do that because it was to dangerous. Within weeks more people started showing up with snowboards and they finally allowed them on the Mountain. Shout out to Jim and John Gute who boarded with me back then. Good times!
I had to move away with my family, but I learned to ski at eaglcrest and it still feels like my home mountain. I've been doing east coast skiing and it's not even close to flying down waterfall or a trail that I've been doing since I was 3.
YEAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Can we get a Quinn interview?
So beautiful!!!
how is the editing on these always so good that simpsons clip was really funny
Will you guys be opening the upper mountain this weekend? It’s going to snowing all week this so was wondering if you guys will open the upper mountains finally on Dec 10 and 11? Opening day was great. Glad to be up the mountain after months of waiting😊

Amazing video 🤘🏼👌🏼
Wonderful video! Makes me want to go to Eaglecrest someday.
When is the best time of year to go for fresh powder? I’m trying to plan a trip next year (:
wow, looks amazing.
Being a race skier in Alaska is a disgrace
Too bad you have to promote this place. If it's out of economic necessity, then that's understandable.
Paid for by my tax dollars…
Powder
Well I'm sold, I'll definitely use my IndyPass for this resort.
Wow, what a special place. This has to go on my bucket list.
Question: What do you all have against proportional representation? Non-white people exist. We're 44+% of this country. We should be 44+% of this video. Because if I ask you who's money you want or who you want to come here you all will say, "Everyone." So, proportionally represent everyone. Everything else is bigotry.
Which month is best to visit Eaglecrest?
Can't go wrong with Spring! Feb - April
@@skieaglecrest Thanks!!🙏🏾 I’m planning a trip for next year. I usually take my annual snowboarding trips at the end of January. Perhaps next year I’ll travel at the end of February since conditions will be better. It will be my first trip to Alaska.
summit with the dub!
Proud to be a Juneauite living close to the wonderful mountains we have here during the summer and winter :) here's to more amazing snow days and blue bird skies!

Top of the ski runs yes, but you can also hike the ridge just beyond that

How does this only have 1000 views? The editing and music is amazing! Eaglecrest seems so much fun, I'll have to go there sometime!

Alan Watts!?! Are you a Sam Harris fan too? Your videos are incredible. Hoping to move to Juneau this summer!
Happy to see Mark Landvik again, I saw Mark for the first time in That's it That's all. In The Art of Flight he blew my mind. For me he always have been a influence for me as a rider. His style and skills are awesome. I would like to see him on new snowboard movies. My best wishes for you Mark Eagle Crest, A Paradise.
Thanks Eaglecrest-you have a future customer☺️
The best little ski area! I’m glad my parents moved there in 1980. A great place to spend 25 years growing up!
I have more subscribers than you. L
