Really makes you think, thank you.
" Happy 4th of July " ... I really appreciate🙏 y'all for bringing us these stories . I believe we must remember the past . That history should not repeat itself . We can make things safer today . I believe that's where we should begin . 😢 , we desperately need to make everyone safe . Thank you for bringing these men's lives back to us ❤ . As we shall never forget 😢 ... " God bless "
Happy fourth July
There were probably at least a couple dozen of these types of places up and down US 52. Hard to believe they're extinct now. The only one I was familiar with was the Red Robin Inn at Borderland. I remember the proprietor, Mr. Charlie Blevins, and all of the old-time folk instruments and other historical items he had. He'd bring some of his banjos and dulcimers down to the Chattaroy School on occasion and play for the kids. I really hope his family kept and preserved his collection.
I love watching u all!! Just moved from Warfield back to Ohio! Would love for u all to do a story on my very good friend Brittany Horn Duff missing from Jennie’s creek! Plz help!!
My mother last name was(she passed) Pinson.
Have a safe and happy Independence Day
Love going on these treks with you two 😊
You could probably talk with some of the old Sheriff's and they could tell you some real stories about this place.
strange==my uncle James Burdette had a friend name Billy Grimmett(bill, william) He was from around point pleasant, Leon that area.
I grew up in man and we always went to 22 looking for her! And it was always believed she was buried in McConnell
When things get tough, the tough gets going is how I think of the Appalachian people. I think of their survival skills on those long cold winter days and nights. Summer was just as hard if not worse. They were a testament to the time and place when people depended on each other for survival and mostly got along. They made most of their belongings because there wasn’t anywhere to go especially without money.
Life is just not fair. My neighbor was drafted, 2 trips to Vietnam, survived, came home, was killed in a car wreck less than 2 weeks home. I was only 10, but was "in love" with my neighbor. 😉 I struggled with that for years. Didn't make sense then, doesn't make sense now. My first crush. ❤ Thanks guys.
I bought a new Atlas just so I could track your travels 😊
the shittiest version ive seen....
You used to be able to cross the Grand Canyon by car on a bridge like that. It is a wooden suspension bridge only for foot traffic now. That was the scariest thing ever. 😮 More than 1 vehicle at a time would 17:04 be on the bridge, two way traffic. Your bridge is beautiful glad they kept it.
you dont need to do voice overs.... you sound like a stuffed pig in a sock and not very clear.
Oysters? I got so many questions.😂
Graduated WHS Wolfpack May 27th 1983 on the football/softball field right beside the field house. I remember the crowds our basketball team won 1983 championships broke glass rim

Have you ever heard of the Giant Killer? This guy was only 4ft 9in. and was the shortest soldier in the Army during the Vietnam War. He fell in love with a girl from W.V. They would meet from time to time, but never married. When she died, his request was to be buried beside her. And now they are together forever. Captain Richard J. Flaherty. A book and now a movie about his life. Leo DiCaprio is in the film.
I can't imagine how much work y'all put in to your vids, just know you are mighty appreciated.
self D
Sounds a whole lot like the media today, A whole lot of talk, very little fact.
If they put a picture of me on my stone I hope they pick one when I was about 12, that's the last time I took a decent picture.😂😘
Popcorn reminds me alot of my dad. RIP dad and RIP Popcorn!
I’m from Southern West Virginia and my grandparents owned a little beer joint. I miss that place so much but someone else bought it and eventually tore it down.
We always called tangle gut, chicken toe.😂
Walk softly our mother sleeps, precious.
Our ginseng only grows on the hill sides do you ever see any while exploring?
You are scaring me a bit Leo, you were showing us the 9 month olds that died on the same day, I said house fire, just before you said house fire. Too common back then when they relied on the old chimneys and wood smoke. Great jobs guys.
Bless you both
A-MAZING!
Great history and story ,but also super sad ...heck of a way to go too ...not an easy death ...Thankyou Leo and Heather for being this back to light and bad it was never solved on how or who cause this . God Bless Yall ..
Back in that time ,being kick by a mule or horse causing death was not unheard of , My Grandfather who grew up on a farm ,told me multiple stories of farmers being killed in such a way . Even one where they went looking for the farmer cause he hadn't come home from the field . Found him laying dead in the field by the mule and plow .. he had been adjusting the harness between the mule and plow and was kick and died instantly in the plowed field .. You never know when you time my come up ...Best Regards to all
Thankyou Leo and Heather, always looking forward to what yall bring back to focus ....Telling their stories and speaking their names .. God Bless Yall ..

No floor in your tent? Doesn't that cause problems when it rains or critters stop by for a snack?
It has one, I just didn't put it in.
