  Rn im almost 13 and ever since i knew about having a career i wanted to be a vet. When i got older i was thinking abt other jobs like air hostess and hospice but veterinare sparked my interest once more. Im watching this video and outless othet because im unsure if i want to follow through with veterinare in the future. I just want to know a bit abt what i may be getting into....even though i dont understand anything. Gl future me <3

  Hi 👋🏼 thank you for the information. I'm still unclear on the results the veterinarian emailed me. He said in the email his neutrophils were a bit high but no big deal. His results said 82% and it was 10,906. Is that high and a cause for concern?

  Euthanasia is certainly a difficult subject and as a veterinarian, I am sure you will have very mixed emotions as you perform the procedure. For the times where an animal is so sick and every day is such agony, I view Euthanasia as a gift. It relieves the animal of its pain and allows it to pass with dignity and tranquility. I have had many pets in my life and each one of them has been very special to me. We Euthanized our last dog about three years ago and as sad as it made me, I knew she would no longer struggle. I did not want to remember her the way she was in her last days. I wanted to remember her as the vigorous, intelligent, kind and loving companion she was to my wife. Our vet was great and she held back tears as we watched our beloved dog pass. I thanked her after the procedure and I told her I was happy that she was no longer struggling. I miss her every day but I know she is in a better place.

  I’m a freshman, homeschooled. I’ve been wanting to be a vet since I was 5-6 years old, and it’s still my dream to be one. I want to learn as early as I can so I won’t be as clueless during my college years and veterinary medicine school. I want to study veterinary medicine as much as I can on my free time ☺️✨

  I am trying to learn why my beloved 5 y.o. Boxer girl Autumn has high RBC and trace blood in her urine. She was recently diagnosed with KCS and i have had to 2 Veterinarians. The 2nd for a 2nd opinion and complete blood panel. However i cannot get answers. I have been spending hrs researching online. Autumn is getting Optimmune 2 x day and gel drops several times a day . I am very concerned about the high RBCS. Can you help?

  Think about to being vet twice! Lots of vets suffer depression and suicidal thoughts. You won’t be only putting animals down who suffering. We all know there it’s legal at NZ to euthanize healthy animal. People decide they don’t want their pets anymore and will do that and you gonna have to do this work. And yes it will be difficult if you have empathy. If you careless and have no emotions that you will get used to it.
