    Just shipped an almost new unit to the company. Original offer was around $700. Once they received the unit there was a revised offer of $0. Now we have to pay $25 to have it shipped back. Save yourself the hassle and find someone else to buy your used unit.

    DON'T BUY FROM APRIVATE PARTY!!! IT WORKED GREAT FOR 6 MONTHS THEN IT QUIT. THE LOCAL AUTHORIZED REPAIR COMPANY COULD NOT FIX IT. THE RHYTHM COMPANY IN FLORIDA WON'T HONOR THE WARRENTY, EVEN THO IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY BASED ON THE SER #. SO I AM OUT A LOT OF MONEY. ME THINKS RHYTHM COMPANY IS A SHIESTER.

    Hi. I am in UK. What is the best option re Oxygen Machine to administer the 12 liters of oxygen per minute x 15-20 minutes?

  • @Oxygenconcentratorstore
    @Oxygenconcentratorstore26 күн бұрын

    You can use Oxygen tanks. Or some patients use two Home oxygen concentrator (HOC) and merger the output to reach 12 liters per minute. Since the highest a HOC can supply is 10 LPM.

    Just randomly realized there's a better way to route the tubing for my cannula. Instead of running the tubing from my cannula to over the top of my ears, then down to my neck, like everyone does, I routed the tubing going from the canula to underneath my ears, then up behind and then over the top, with it finally coming down in front of my ears. This causes the cannula to stay against my upper lip and not be pulled up against my nostrils. The tubing still travels down to the supply line underneath my chin as designed, but this way it stays lower on my cheeks as it travels along underneath my earlobes I have a deviated septum, and my nostrils and nasal passages are very narrow. This makes it difficult to use my cannula for supplemental o2 and still get enough normal room air through my nose. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else wear their tubing like this, but I'm sure there are others with similar problems with their nasal passages, so I wanted to share. Now, on to the unit in the video. It claims to be able to provide up to 2 liters per minute continuous flow. If true, that is MUCH better than the Inogen One G5. The Inogen unit only does pulse doses and only up to 1.26 liters per minute max'. There's a massive difference between pulse dose and continuous flow. The 4 hour battery life on a pulse setting of 2 is pretty low, about half that of the Inogen G5. That's a shame. Maybe they will offer bigger or improved batteries soon. If you're a lung patient and require supplemental o2, that's really the biggest factor to consider. Even 2 liters will eventually not be enough, but it's a big help in getting you out of the house and back into the world outside. Walk slower. Be mindful of your environment. Pay attention to what your body is telling you along the way, and use common sense.

    These Caire batteries use a stack of 18650 batteries, most likely 2600milamps. Over the years I've opened a few medical grade batteries to salvage the cells and these are very made units. I now find myself needing to use a POC, I went with the Caire Freestyle and very pleased with unit.

    Great video guys, keep them coming. I do 2-3 day camping trips off road in remote areas, I need my unit to be 100% reliable. I have extra batteries and a power inverter to run the separate 110V battery charger, a 400watt Pure Sine Wave unit. I recently purchased a 1K Whr power station, this can provide 12V DC and 110V AC and can be recharged with a solar panel. This power station can run my POC all weekend before needing to be recharged. I carry 2 tanks strapped in the back of my truck just in case, enough to get me home if my POC fails. My Caire POC gave me my life back.

    Thank you for the feedback and sharing your experience! It sounds like you've taken thorough measures to ensure you have reliable power sources for your camping trips, which is essential for individuals relying on oxygen therapy. We're glad to hear that your POC has made such a positive difference in your life and enabled you to enjoy outdoor activities with peace of mind. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.
