Wooden ThingsAndStuff

Wooden ThingsAndStuff

Just a normal guy learning how to make stuff out of wood in his garage. When I started this channel, I had a basic set of inexpensive tools, I'd never cut a dovetail, I'd never made a mortise and tenon joint, and I'm not sure I'd ever actually made anything square that was supposed to be. Come along and watch me learn how to do this stuff better. Maybe you'll learn something, too.

Yup.One of the stupider things I ever did in terms of woodworking. But I learned a lesson...one of which was to not assume that "youtube woodworkers" were a good resource. Dude with hundreds of thousands of followers uses bench chisels....must be okay, right? No.

Thanks for the video. Yes you will like the vari-grind attachment. You should use it right in the beginning because you will reduce the grinds without grinding half your tool away. It’s good for fingernail grind, bowl gouge and side or Irish grind. Vari-grind 2 is even better because it increases the ease of use. I’m surely going to enjoy sharpening my turning tools a lot more

  • @WoodenThingsAndStuff
