12:37 Charles did record the line «Suit Power» for Mario (Black Suit) in Mario Kart Tour (2019) which released on 22nd august 2023. Also don't forget that Charles can still voice Mario's dad and Giuseppe in Mario Movie 2 sense he only retired from the Mario games

Woah im suprised everyone loves Tangy so much. New leaf was my first animal crossing game and i remember playing it for hours. Tangy was one of my villagers and i used to hang out and chat with with her all the time. She was my best friend in that town. I didnt really think anyone else cared for Tangy. Tbh design wise she's definitely not my favorite. My favourite is now Lolly. But all those memories of her when i was little makes her a lot and im so happy others like her too as i dont hear that much love for Tangy.

Knowing that part of the DK Mountain theme samples from Donkey Kong Junior, it makes me a little more gutted that DK Jr got scrapped and replaced by Diddy Kong.

I’d like to see these figures together on a list if you have one? I’d be interested to see results taking into account what you said about the number of appearances the characters had, personality types/ changed personality types and even genders. There’s tons of possibility with that much data, even if some of the voters cast a lot more votes than others etc. I also feel like the new, less savage era of AC dialogue will have affected the popularity of some of the personality types. Back in the day, there was a definite relish the fanbase took in getting chewed out by a cranky or a snooty villager- but now the dialogue is so much more agreeable (imo toothless), it feels less of an achievement getting them to warm up to you and other villagers.

In my head, Elise is the little old lady who has all the gossip for me at my retail job. She’ll stand around “dusting” behind juicy happenings for like ten minutes and is never noticed bc she’s old, small and will happily play deaf. I love her for being a savage, stone cold bitch about all the people I dislike most in retail (she never swears, she’s got some DEVIOUS turns of phrase). Obviously, I adore Elise.

11:25 I almost got PTSD flashbacks when he appeared.. This guy invaded my island uninvited, lived there for about 2 years until he finally decided he wanted to leave. When the game released, i played it for multiple hours every single day. I then had a villager who i wanted to move out and she did quite quickly. I then was hyped because i had recently found out about villager hunting so i had saved up all my nook miles and was able to acquire around 25 tickets. I was ready! The next day the plot was free, but i was not.. I couldn't play all day as i was busy with family, came home exhausted and just prepared the lawn for the next villager i was going to invite (aka removing all the old furniture outside). I wake up and the first thing i did was grab my switch, run a lap around the island and then i turn up to the supposed empty house slot just to see a big red "SOLD" sticker on it.. I checked the name, it was Harry the Hippo.. I looked up who that was and my mood really just went 🤩📉😔

Yeah I've hated the blue shell since it first came out on 64, having it in the game is just a stupid crutch for weak players who can't win on their own skill and just looks like Nintendo is lazy putting this in just to midigate backlash for weak players or ones too young to understand. I don't see how removing it makes anything missing in the game id prefer the CPU and their cheating from SNES over the blue shell 😮at least their predictable and you could tell when they were about to use an item.. Why don't you explain it in complete detail and cut out the bullshit Nintendo and stop with the lies and just be direct. I honestly have hated the Mario kart games specifically because of the blue shell and I won't play any races with it in. The blue shell just punishes players for being too good at the game using skillz and makes weak players stay weak because they can't win without it. Saying it's used as a balance is nothing more than a cop out lie. I always win on my skills alone I always lose when a blue shell is involved. Hell staying in first place barely gives you any defense to even stay in forst place with the red shell always chasing the one infront regardless how farther agead they are and so forth. The blue shell has ruined the games for me.
