Beautiful horse. Why can't the Tenn. Walking horse be treated like these people treat the Morgan horse. These horses or just asbeautiful and do not have those awful things on there feet and do just as well without them. Oh yes , and the riders look like normal people not outdated bent over people so not to slide off the backof the poor mistreated horse.

Nice head set when she releases the tight hold on the reins after they've stopped. Too bad that's not how she has him travel.

Dressge is beneficial to all horses any breed. The western saddle is alot cheaper and then the dressage saddle and the guys arent't afraid of dressage in a western saddle. I love all horse disiplines and breeds.

any rider with a massive port and mile long shanks can make a horse overbend. Wake me up when the next nothing happens.

just to add, that just my nick horse or whatever its name almost is reckless because of the way the horse is trained. my horse won the jumpers and also showed in hunter trail and western.

couldnt have said this better myself!! I showed at the 2009 morgan grand national jumpers and when someone wrote an article in an american morgan magazine they didnt bother to mention how far from Edmonton ab canada we traveled, instead called me reckless and focused on the girl that took reserve champion after me. this comment made my day!

The horse is BEF Ivan and maybe you need to do a little research before hauling off...if you want a flat lope stick to quarter horses Morgans have a lot more action and natural collection hence your "choppy unnatural stride"...Im sure you think regular dressage horses are overly collected as well

Typical. Head tucked so close to the chest he/she probably can't breath. No fluid movement, but a choppy, short stride due to the way the horse is incorrectly put on the bit. Not impressed with "western dressage"

Well this is very interesting and exciting! I know Western doesn't get enough recgontion and this will definetly bring some new light on the discipline! I live in Nebraska and all we do is ride Western and so adding this might make both the disciplines morph into one or at least bring the two communities closer together! Can't wait to see how this dicsipline fairs in the future! :D

@jjjjjokerface The "snobby" bit is totally a stereotype, I'm an English dressage rider and I'm probably one of the most laid back people you'll ever meet. It is expensive, though... but then again, so are all Equestrian disciplines!

I'd LOVE to do this. I currently ride hunters but I love reining and dressage. Regular dressage is just too expensive (and a bit snobby, lol) for me, and reining is kinda fast. This looks like an excellent mix; I hope that I can one day try it!!

Western dressage ? How sweet ! I'm a western rider how love western saddle and loose rein, but dream at the same time about all the cool thing done in dressage too ! Nice to know that now both of my favorite can be put together ! :)
