Do not go to this fraud school. They rejected my claim about my work experience, which I have extensive years of work experience. I am applying for a master's degree program. I am sure this school will be shut down one day. I am never applying to this school again.

I just finished The Edge of Innocence. It details the Smith, Allen case. What these two endured is unfathomable. I don't know how the prosecutor Rosenbaum sleeps at night. And the woman who brought all of these false claims, shame on her. I pray Nancy and Joseph live out the rest of their lives surrounded by love. What a blessing the Innocence Project is.❤️🙏

It is all deliberate! I saw how racist America is to black people! My cousin ( my mixed race aunt with her black/ venezuelan husband's daughter) went into a Chinese all you can eat in Naperville, Illinois restaurant and we were told that I can take my own food from the buffet but she could not ,she had to be given the food because the others in the restaurant would not touch the food if she served herself. The server explained that they would have to throw out the food because the others would not touch it!

Hello I need help with a friends case. He is currently at the Grafton Institution being held on account of robbery and felonious assault that means he’s charged with two accounts for one case making no sense whatsoever. The case shows that there is no evidence of any robbery or felonious assault. All evidence points to that this case was pushed through by obvious enemies of the community. It would help if you could push this case towards the innocence project as well as your schools project and helping with these types of situations. His name is Dashon Harris. They referred to his case through an appointed attorney and lawyer as Deshon Watson they don’t even know his correct name. They also refused to learn it. He’s going for an appeal process because of the situation if you could provide any insight or help that would be great.

Dr. Loftus was sexually abused as a child. That rapist was prosecuted. Loftus always remembered what happened to her. However, I believe that her experiences have led her to doubt the veracity of the claims of people who say they forgot memories of abuse. Such people suffer, first, from the initial trauma, and then they forget those memories, usually due to either the neglect and emotional abuse which came after the abuse (to cover it up, usually because the abuser is still around), and/or injuries to the head or deprivations of oxygen during the abuse (which can increase the likelihood of brain damage, leading to memory loss). The term "False Memory Syndrome" was coined by a CHILD RAPIST, Dr. Peter Freyd. He coined this term, and founded the False Memory Syndrome Foundation, specifically in order to discredit his own daughter's claims that he raped her. Jennifer Freyd became a psychologist and has written books about this. Recovered memories are not "false memories". The 1984 Illinois Supreme Court case Johnson v. Johnson recognized two classes of abuse victims: people who always remembered the abuse (like Dr. Loftus) and people who forgot the abuse and then recovered memories. Not all claims of recovered memories are false. Watch the 2008 documentary “Flashback”

In Lofthus's book, she said she had a repressed memory herself and admits that it does happen. I remembered part of my abuse and then remembered more later. I backed up my memories with evidence I found about my abuser with evidence from the internet long after I told.

  • @jgibbs6159

I think you are missing the point of her research. She isn't saying that people did not get abused, she is saying that a person's memory can be manipulated to remember things that did not happen, or remember them incompletely - with some variation of the actual event. There is no question that people are abused. There is also no question that our memories are malleable, and easily manipulated - which is documented through voluminous studies over the last 30 years. Her work on false memories shifted long ago to other cognitive processes of memory like disinformation, anchoring effects, continued information effect theory and many others. You should read her studies and form your perspective from the evidence and not emotions. You can be factually accurate with your position, and she can be too.

Very Informative Presentation, I hope Law School Admission Counselors across the United States have the opportunity to view and discuss your presentation, possibly in and annual conference and or forum to help them expand their perspective when selecting candidates for admission to law school as they seek to fill these most important and needed roles in the community; in an effort to promote equity, inclusion and equality in the promotion of civil rights and opportunities for representation within our democracy for all people. Hopefully, the nations State Bar Leaders and Representatives will also have the opportunity to view and consider your presentation and findings in an effort to help promote the expansion and selection of antiracist attorneys throughout the country, especially since the State Bar conducts an annual Attorney Census to gather demographic and employment data from the state's licensees and that census contains questions on demographic characteristics, including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and veteran's status. A partnership may help level the playing field in regards to representation and advancement in scholarly and career employment opportunities.
