Firstly, well done on the haul, you obviously hit the lake at the right time. 2ndly, as someone else has said, I’m not sure someone should be angling for such big fish who a: doesn’t know how to use a reel properly by not knowing how to adjust the clutch, b: doesn’t know what way up to hold a fish! Part 1. The Bankside fish handling skills shown are shocking at best, and as for the cradle, well throw it in the nearest skip and invest in a proper fish retaining unhooking mat of at very least big enough to accommodate a 50lb+ fish. If I owned Jonchery I’d ban all cradles and insist on fish pics/vids are done in the water. Sorry to be so critical but I really wouldn’t post on KZread for the masses to see!

Hi mate, all the swims fish well on there day , unfortunately I can't really say much about swim 5 as don't know alot about the swim.. message Mark Slade or the jonchery page on fb as he will be able to help as he lives onsite and knows the lake inside out

Well done on your haul. Should the other fella really be fishing for such big fish if he doesn't know the basics of playing a fish???
@markscarpadventures10 ай бұрын
Hi mate, he knows the basics but my Rods have more tc than his, his Rods are alot softer than mine so I had to remind him to keep a bend in the rod as he was playing a fish on my Rods

Good video mate, but the fish care on show is very poor and it’s sad to see 🥺 Other then that keep doing the do 👍

Hi mate , I appreciate your comment. Every fish that had damage was treated with carp care, I didn't show them on the film as I had to shorten the video , I appreciate I didn't always zip up the sling but was hectic sometimes and was a mistake on my behalf , fish where very lively so wanted to get them back with little stress as possible

Well fished Mark. I'm sure you are doing it but no footage of watering fish or using fish care products
@markscarpadventures10 ай бұрын
Hi mate. Fair point but fish care was used on all hook holds and we had bucket of water but I edited alot of the clips to shorten them. I'll be sure to add some shots next time mate

No carp care here! No way!!! Not with all that foam on the fish, putting them back in without securing the sling. They were out of the water for way too long, especially as you say you’ve edited the footage - 16:50 that common is bone dry - 19:00 where’s the carp care on that commons missing a scale?? No chance you’re treating these poor carp.

I appreciate your concern but I can assure you carp care has always been my priority, we had buckets of water we used to keep the Carp wet and any damage we see was treated
