  my mom told me she has damaged her eyesight reading this book at night with a torch as a girl. having read it, i can say that it's worth it!! this book is my favourite of Dumas alongside the Three Musketeers and the Red Sphynx

  @@throneofpages Okay, so I double-cheecked bc it was nagging at me and it's not as big as I thought I remembered (still not my fave, tho). Kyoko, the main character, starts out at 16 and Ren, the LI, starts out at 20. Again, not great, but I thought Ren was a little older than that lol

  You will love Berserk manga because it has a lovely background, an exciting story, and very little violence. Personally, I think the tale is my favorite manga. 😁

  I bought War and Peace because of you and your enthusiasm has got me hyped for Danmei novels and Classics. lol. Such different genres. I got Evocation from Aardvark, yours is stunning but tbh I'm not too fussed about the lack of foiling on mine. It actually benefits me and my oily skin. haha. Also do you have Butcher and Blackbird because Leather and Lark is technically a sequel. Also I heard its violent but really funny.
