    I'm a safe technician with 5 years of experience, when changing a code NEVER CLOSE THE SAFE DOOR BEFORE CHECKING YOUR NEW CODE, JUST TURN THE HANDLE TO CLOSE AND ENTER NEW CODE! After testing the code and the locks open's then close the door and retest.

    My lever kit came with both levers and cable, however I don't want to replace the cable since to bike is brand new. Just replacing the no name brank brake levers and rear no named v caliper brake. Was kinda upset because the company Claimed Shimano parts well they were sorta right, the shifters are shimano revo shifters.

    Will this make the motor run away

  • @DrunkInDrag
    @DrunkInDrag22 күн бұрын

    No, it just acts as a restriction. If your cable is broken it just might be hard starting but you can put your hand over the intake to start it that way, if the chokes stuck on it’ll just bog your motor bad once it’s warmed up.

    I need help with the battery wires I bought my 2002 350 es and the battery wires were all unhooked. I have two black thick wires one short one long I think long one connects to solenoid then I have two red wires from a cylinder white looking thing. If you could make a video and show how yours is wired it would help a lot. Try to show where each wire goes and comes from.

  • @ecohunter
    @ecohunter3 ай бұрын

    I believe one of the black ones just goes to the ground. Your red one should go to the solenoid and a fuse. The extra black and extra red probably went to a winch or something extra. Check out the wiring diagram I attached. www.pinterest.ca/pin/341077371765427207/

    Hi, I have a polaris expedition 325 4x4 atv, have a switch on handle bar like you're showing in the video, Itried starting it by pushing up the red button but no go, have to pull it over, any suggestions

  • @ecohunter
    @ecohunter3 ай бұрын

    What year is it? If the little red button pushes up but doesn't start or turn over then you may need a new switch. A cheap one on Amazon is about $15-30. There may be a link in the description. If you buy OEM you will probably pay double that. Check all connections though before buying new parts.

    Long shot, but I’m working on a 2000 trailblazer 250, cleaned up the whole wiring harness and still can’t get my starter button to work. Is their any way you’d be willing to make a video of the whole harness and where everything is bolted, mainly under the front hood is where I think I messed up. Thank you in advance if possible if not I understand, I needed this video also!

    If you plan to redo the carpet later down the line, can you remove and reapply the trim piece or would you have to install another peice of the metal track and corner trim?

  • @ecohunter

    You should be able to use the same piece as long as you are careful removing it the first time.

    You should be de-burring your cases anyway. That’s one way to increase the possibility of broken case jams. Not smart and just plain lazy.

    I know this vid was from 4 years ago, but can I ask how the project went? I inherited an 07 grizzly 350 from my grandfather after it was sitting outside in the elements for 4 years. I wanna make this a project of mine. How easy/hard is it to find parts?

  • @ecohunter
    @ecohunter5 ай бұрын

    It's pretty easy to find parts. If it's been sitting outside for awhile, fresh gas, carb clean, and a battery are the issues 98% of the time. You can buy non OEM parts on Amazon/eBay that usually work pretty good. If you want OEM parts there are still places to buy parts, but they will be 2-3 times more expensive.

    Mine did to but I also just got it used for my nephews I just replaced the carb and the air filter . The hose is for the crank vent . I am either gonna make my old air box work or just run it under the seat and get another in-line filter that’s already on it and call it a day .
