  yer gathering post the first one just has too many buildings inside the radius. The fishing docks radius can give you 2200 fish per year, if you place it with 2/3rds water surrounding it, and do not put bridges, trading posts other fishing docks in its radius either. Put three houses beside the dock connectings road. and three barns behind the houses, for highest production. I suspect yer going to starve, cuzz you have so many builders, and labourers are very slim.

  You can knock down the workers to 1 hunter per hunting camp and 1 forester per forestry camp. The reasoning is because 1 hunter is still effective at providing hunting goods and 1 forester is enough at the beginning since you are actually getting more wood from clearing out building areas than from the workers doing auto-chopping trees.

  Try as I might I cannot seem to locate a "megamod 9 tour or review video." You know a video that details the individual parts, the new structures, new gameplay elements. What buildings are cool, or smart, or useful. What buildings are less useful....or "broken," or silly. I dunno I played vanilla years ago and just started up again because I saw some new similar game on Early Access Steam. Something (I forget) Frontier. Looks cool. Waiting for a sale though. Wanna use this mod....but it seems a bit much...lol.

  I don't know whether mods change a game's mechanics, but if they don't, then your start is the dumbest start that I've ever seen in a game. The forest lodge needs to be separate from everything else, and especially from the hunting cabin (which needs to be isolated because the wild animals don't roam in populated areas... in this game anyway). Really bad planning...

  I guess it's too late to say but there are few reasons you are making little money until that point: 1. You make games in different genres and every genre has it's own part of the market so people who like for example your adventure game literally don't know and don't care about your other games. Every market niche has it's own fans. 2. You in fact don't support your games. Yes, you have support team but there is a lot of bugs and you never update your products to fix it or to upgrade technology level of your products. 3. Your pre-release marketing is not good enough. Marketing team is too small and don't make enough pre-releases. Don't take it personally. Anyway it's enjoyable to watch this playthrough and I will watch it further)

  Exactly,I won't even watch episode 2,watching him build those mines when the map is covered in stone and iron was insane,food,tools and firewood are the priorities at the start and he ignored all that 😂

  For your next step you should make teams that are dedicated to a single product and give your design and dev crews the focused trait, this way they will churn out products faster do not give marketing or support the focused traits because it is better to split their work up with few consistent releases(for them I found chaotic environment to be best for handling multitasks) I’d start with your hardware teams and make sure your leaders are natural born leaders trait that way they accomplish their job quicker like meetings.

  What a terrible spawn. Having your starting location be directly beside a brook or stream like that really limits growth and forces the use of bridges too early. Yes, Gatherers will gather food throughout the entire year. Since you have disasters turned off, your buildings will never burn down, so wells are useless.

  no fires in the town but building wells is one of the achievements, so planning for them is good too.

  Its funny you say this was inspired by Rimworld because Rimworld was inspired by Dwarf Fortress. Speaking of DF, I can't wait for the steam version to release. Maybe it will come out sometime this decade.
