    39+5 now and having prodromal labor for 10 days now with the last two days being quite painful with contractions going down to 2-4 minutes apart. 😅 How long after this video did your baby arrive? Also, your mindset if beautiful!

    There are many high quality diapers to use, this is really a basic, lowest budget option. (Alvababy)Trying the top products makes such a difference, also microfiber as an insert is really not recommended. Bamboo at least, but we use hemp too at 4 months, because my baby pees a ton. Plus you can add a layer of fleece to keep the baby’s bum dry. So good start, but for the full experience I would have borrowed a mixed package and test which type and shape fits best for my baby. Without trying them on it’s hard…very much like buying clothes. Not every type fits everyone

    I also have hEDS and I’m also a Believer!!!!!! 32+3 weeks and could’ve shot this video myself! Had no clue what was happening till I started researching my symptoms and saw your video. Another video by a midwife said that in her experience those that go through this type of pre labor contractions have a easier labor and delivery when the time does come!!🥰 Was that your experience? I realize this video is over 2 years old but I hope you read it.💞 I do have a history of preterm delivery at 36 weeks and currently have a cervical cerclage that will be taken out in 25 days!! (October 5th). We live in Laguna Niguel in Southern Orange County, California and the extreme heat isn’t helping and the past day we have had sudden rain from the hurricane in Mexico. With my hEDS recently I’ve been dealing with hip instability and a flat out dislocation last week that had me in the hospital. Also was diagnosed with PGP…😣 Sooooo glad I found your channel!!!

    I’m in the same dilemma with my little one - she needs to be held all night, cluster feeds, etc. We’re wondering if she could be having a diary sensitivity too, but we don’t know. What are the symptoms to look for that could be an indicator for that? She doesn’t spit up much or have diarrhea, just strains and is fussy when she’s trying to poop, not able to poop much anymore, is clingy, and swallows a lot of air when breastfeeding 🥺 breaks my heart when she’s inconsolable and I don’t know what the root issue is 😭

  • @NicoleKauffman
    @NicoleKauffman2 жыл бұрын

    I ended up cutting out dairy even tho my doctor didn't think it was the issue and it helped. Our little guy wasn't gaining as much weight but mostly it was the gas pains and extreme discomfort. I also have a very fast letdown (and had oversupply with my first) and this caused a lot of the problem too! I tried the reclined nursing position and now with my second, take him off to burp more! Can you find a lactation consultant near you? They helped me so much!!

    @@NicoleKauffman how long did it take for you to see a difference in your baby after cutting out dairy? I’m officially on day 2 of being dairy-free as my baby has been very colicky and inconsolable with tummy pain 😭 hoping we see some results soon 🥺

  • @NicoleKauffman
    @NicoleKauffman2 жыл бұрын

    Reading online, I found it takes about 2 weeks for it to fully be out of your milk. I also cut out chocolate and I know there are a bunch of others that can trigger too. For my second it's dairy, chocolate and citrus!

  • @evelinapreiss
    @evelinapreiss2 жыл бұрын

    This nearly brings tears to my eyes. Currently 9 days postpartum and its been HARD. Day 3 and 4 was rough, but then we got the hang of breastfeeding for the most part and I was SO happy. But then things went downhill again when my baby started cluster feeding, nursing herself to sleep, and refusing to sleep anywhere but on me. Fast forward to now, she’s having a hard time pooping and has a lot of air that she swallows during feeds. The last few nights my husband and I have been up pretty much the entire night with her. She can be inconsolable and it makes me feel like I’m doing everything wrong or that my breastmilk is causing her stomach sensitivities. That’s why I looked up “first 2 weeks with baby” in hopes of hearing similar experiences. Thank you for sharing yours 🤍

I’ll be induced at 39 weeks (which is just a few days away!) due to the struggles I’ve had with it. But your symptoms are the same as what mine are. I’m glad you had a good delivery ❤️

    To really clean and sanitize human waste out of the diapers Tide is probably the best option. The more natural detergents just don’t clean as well. I had also tried to go that route and switched to Tide. I also use the powder form since liquids aren’t as effective.

    It’s been a week of just inconsistent contractions that are like 10 minutes apart for several hours and then go away, a week ago I might have lost part of the mucus plug bloody show thing, pressure, cramping, back pain, and of course conveniently, the contractions stop each time they put me on the monitors but one of my doctors said if it’s back labor it won’t be detectable on those monitors. It’s so frustratingggg and I have a chronic pain condition and it’s just burnt me out sooo much and I just want it to be over-I have no energy left to prepare or socialize and I’m just so defeated. I don’t even know where to start in my Bible and prayer. I’m trying to find it in me to change the mindset to something like this.
