    Lovely and clear. Just don't quite understand why you start off with 3 knots...? Would it be the same 3 knots rule at the start of the weaving?

    I like using my lucet for making thick cords but it's so hard on my hands. I have a lot of arthritis everywhere, which makes crafting so much more painful these days. I was just thinking the other night, is there a way to make a lucet braid without the fork? KZread must have heard my thoughts (spooky) because this came up in my recommendations even though I never searched for it! Thanks so much for answering my question 8 years ago LOL When I get back to the braid I sat down last year, I will try it this way instead.

    I just found your video today 3/10/24...and I know you made this 8 years ago, I hope you get this comment. 🤗 Thank you for this tutorial...I have been on the fence about buying a lucet...don't know how often I would use one, and they seem a bit expensive. Your braid is nice and square...and best of all...no expense except for the yarn. Thank you for posting this (8 years ago ) and solving my dilemma today. Wishing you the best. 🤗

    Stripes to be a transition between colors is so interesting since I’m more into digital art and in pixel art this was called dithering, it’s always so interesting how the same concept transfers to different artforms

    This looks like a cool, simple method. Would it be possible to hide the whole warp thread under the weft --instead of having it stick out from the back?

  • @weavewithpat
    @weavewithpat Жыл бұрын

    Provided you run the warp thread through for about an inch, you should be able to cut the warp thread close to the weaving and tuck it in.
