Sammy Davis & Arthur Silber & E.B. GO Vision Media

Sammy Davis, Jr.-Arthur Silber, Jr. You Tube Channel. Silber is the the author of Sammy Davis, Jr.: Me and My Shadow, a book which chronicles my close 25 year personal and business association with Sammy Davis, Jr. Beginning in 1950, when Sammy was still playing with the Will Maston Trio, we became fast friends and celebrated success and suffered setbacks together. His book tells the true story of Sammy Davis, Jr., corrects long held myths about his life and reveals never before told stories regarding this amazing man and entertainment icon, Sammy Davis, Jr.

Sammy and Arthur were brothers in everything; when Sammy's life was threatened over the Kim Novak affair, Arthur's neck was on the line too; when Sammy broke the color barrier at Vegas Casino's by dealing blackjack, Arthur was with him; when Sammy got the famous car accident in that nearly cost him his life and did cost him an eye, Arthur was at the hospital first.

It’s amazing to me that the celebrity singers of this era had so much fun. Nowadays it seems like celebrities have gotten to be so entitled (not everyone just some) and the music has deteriorated so much. I wish the humble kindness and community of this fine batch of singers could be brought back to current generations.

God gives talent.... and parents who nurture their children to develop any talent that can entertain others has unlimited value in our struggle to survive in this world. Sammy Davis' and his family entertained the world for many years and we are all grateful they did...So give your babies access to your pots and pans and you'll know if they love keeping the beat so our musical entertainment can bring happy moments to cheer us and allow us to live another day.

Sammy tap danced until the very end. Just a couple of months before he died at his 60th Anniversary tribute he STILL showed 'em how it was done. He was great to the very end. It broke my heart when passed away too soon. I will love him till the day I die. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

To think that black such supreme American talent has devolved to cRap, with nasty lyrics and less endearing personalities. Motown was also such an iconic and cool musical genre. America has a lot to thank the black population for.

Nat was… is… the best. Everybody in the music business wanted to be on his show. Such artistry always. I backed up his daughter Natalie with my showroom orchestra many times in Atlantic City. One of the highlights of my career. If I was stranded on a desert island and could only have one wish, and I couldn’t have my wife with me, then it would have to be my Nat King Cole record collection and something to play it on. Thank you Nat for such beauty. Loved Sammy too. Superb professionals. No artificial intelligence needed.
