  I have the Infinity Studio bust and I've met Gal twice (at Rhode Island ComicCon in December 2016 and Ace ComicCon in Long Island in December 2017. To me, the Infinity Studio bust looks exactly like Gal. The JND head sculpt elongates her face too much. It's nice to have the entire figure, but the face does not look like Gal to me. Just my opinion, of course. And to some extent I don't think life-size should be compared with 1/3 scale. But I appreciate you doing this video comparison. And congratulations on owning both stautes!

  I commend JND for taking on collectors feedback (wish they would for Arwen!) but I have to agree that the OG especially in the eyes capture Reeve perfectly. As Daniel initially said, most of the issue was with the high hair which is easily rectified. I think the best option would be to ask the community via email which they would prefer and go with the consensus like what they did with the Catwoman base recently. As I've purchased the duo set, I would definitely pick the OG from the images shown so far.

  These companies always based their figures on the 1978 version of Christopher Reeve Superman, when he was at his best form in Superman III.

  Both capture certain elements of Christopher Reeve's likeness, and the realism is impressive, but overall neither look that accurate. Out of the two, the OG (eyes, eyebrows and nose all excellent) looks more like Christopher Reeve, though it looks like the disheveled/naughty Superman from Superman 3 instead of how he appeared in the 1978 film. Here's hoping that Inart eventually gets it right with their 1/6 figure.

  Dude this change makes me so sad. I am actually going to be cancelling my preorder because if it. It’s so heartbreaking. The slightly older, more gentle version was so special and unique. This change feels so sad and cheap, and worst of all, it looks like the most boring, typical Superman face sculpture ever. Like a Wish version of JND

  @@SOScollector I agree, the mouth muscles are too narrow now, the eyes are off and for some reason the smirk is gone. It's not a big difference but its definitely worse than the OG.

  I like the hair better on the new one and clean shaven face but the OG is the better sculpt. Maybe combine the two for the final product. In the end it will still be the best Christopher Reeve collectible statue by far.

  The likeness in the eyes, the width of the head, the hair length and style, the mouth, and lack of expression... The only "improved" aspects are that he looks younger, more healthy and his hair is jet black.

  Inart has the better figure for sure but how did they not include a Diorama base to go with it? The HT one comes with a red step base that makes it a much better value. You can spend $400 on a inart figure plus accessories or you can spend $400 on a HT figure with led base, with extra suit, with lithograph poster as well as accessories.

  Each figure has its own strength. I agree that HT gives us more with their price. But, maybe some would choose the better figure over the base and accessories. And here, the Inart standard (sculpted hair) costs $325 shipped.

  @@SOScollector agreed. As much as I would have loved to have the inart figure I do not feel it is that much better enough to sell the HT one that I have and have it replaced with this one. Especially considering how long I've had it for and how much fun it's been, I just don't understand the need for selling HT one and having to wait again for a figure that's only a little better.
