Go watch this again because you weren't paying attention. The dad literally talks about how it's a simple surgery and not to worry. I have no clue where you're picking up the it's all in her head bit. The grandma and her IF are together at the end and the dad even gets his back. There were some things kept pretty vague but they weren't things I felt were needed for the plot. As someone who had to watch a father figure go though cancer and die when I was only 12 I found this film to portray very well the way a child can lose her wonder. And how hard it can be to get it back because you're scared it will happen again. Grandma's are just people who grew up and had kids who had kids. There's not a specific thing they are required to be. I found her refreshing. This film had a very hopeful feeling to me. It's about loss and that in itself is depressing for sure, but it is also about overcoming loss and realizing loss doesn't mean you have to stop finding joy in living. You can move on from it. I think it was brilliantly written and had a wonderful sense of whimsy and sage wisdom in my opinion.

I do but I haven’t posted any of them, all these videos are auditions or scenes from already made films/tvshows

correct me if i’m wrong but isn’t a pre screen different then a recorded audition? i’m looking for prescreen examples on youtube and i thought prescreening was more introducing yourself and not following an actual script, i’m new to this so let me know if i’m mistaken thanks!!

Hey! This is for an audition on Backstage. Sometime people post with the requirement of a pre-screen and they have details in it for what they want to see before calling you for an actual audition. For this one, it was just this mini script.
