If you're camchain is rattling all the time there are 2 possibilities. 1 - your camchain tensioner is bad. 2 - your camchain is worn out. If you're unsure how to test and fix these issues you're going to need the help of someone who's mechanically skilled.

Needless to say, this is a life-saver, or at least some-finicky-hard-to-find plastic bolts saver. I started off my first time panel disassembly with naive thought that intuition will get me through. After removing the first panel and all the screws, I was bound to break something. Off to YT and this video saved my panels as well as my sanity. Thank YOU for putting this together in such an easy way to follow!

Hi there, Is this the same for putting the clip back on, in reverse order. Funnily enough, I have just ended up on your post and have spent the last week trying to figure out how to remove this bloomin thing and had done exactly what you did, wow if only I knew to push it in :|

The body is often weaker. The shackel is almost always the strongest spot. You could also just drill the key hole..... if it was a master lock id say just shove sometjing in there and it will open....

You can also use washers, which may be easier to remove. First read this tip in the letters page of Vintage Motorcycle magazine in the early 80's. It#s a great alternative to the screwdriver method

Thanks from me too… have been fiddling with these things for years and never realised the centre pin needs to be pushed through a little in order to remove the rivet. Always thought I had to somehow prise the small pin outwards. Seems so obvious now 🤦♂️
