Looks like it has shut down now.
I think max saw something, you know dogs can see what we can't see, just a guess, hehehe
Can you tell me how many free messages you get before you must purchase more?
I believe it is 20 free messages.
👍
The sites I'd like to search require credentials to use. How canI build in the login creds in the google CSE ?
Unfortunately, you can't do that.
@@rmbyrne I was hoping you had the ability to code the creds in the context and or annotations
instead of showing all the details how do you set so that the public only see's an event as busy
In the calendar settings uncheck "show all event details."
Well put, Richard. I don't have kids get bored with Kahoot and similar tools because I change it up, therefore, am not using them all that often in a single school year. For some review I'll use Kahoot, especially if I need kids to remember basic facts that can be enforced via multiple choice questions, I also use Pear Deck's Vocabulary review with Quizlet, or Pear Deck for more types of questions and discussions. Classcraft has Boss Battles that are also very fun for kids. And like you mentioned, having kids show their learning through projects, making videos, blogging (yes, blogging is still alive in schools and there are schools out there looking for other classes to connect with), presenting, making models, and designing their own experiments are great ways to assess kids without "testing" or "quizzing" them to death. I say it's all in changing things up and keeping it different so kids don't have a chance to get bored with anything we do!
Great points, Richard. I'm grateful that in our profession it certainly feels like the vast majority of educators want to take the high road and model integrity when it comes to intellectual property. - Tim
Wow. I know this stuff happens but this is so blatant! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this.
There is an ios app called TouchCast that creates interactive videos
Thanks for all the recommendations! Your hand was pretty steady.
Thank you for this easy to understand, step-by-step explanation. It was very helpful to me and will make my blog more useful for students and parents.
Thanks for posting.
Thank you!
You are totally right Richard. What we, teachers, dont have enough is the time. I love what you do and thanks a lot for sharing :-)
I think your work is amazing. Thank you for all your helpful tips regarding technology in the classroom. Please keep up the wonderful work. Your content is always very accessible, allowing teachers to easily incorporate it into their practice. Thank you for sharing your expertise. Thank you for taking the time to put together your videos together. Thank you so much.
Typo in the second last line 😬
You're good Mr. Byrne. I continue to love your resources and ideas! Thanks a million!!!
Thank you
It is the content that is important- and that's something I get in all your videos. I agree- folks don't have time to edit everything and sometimes I think the special effects reduce the impace of the message!
I love the wiggling baby, you should have him/her in all of your videos! I think your message is a good one. I create quick video tips and short messages to my students, they see me as I am working online at my kitchen table.
Thank you. I'll try to include my daughters in more of my videos :)
Good general tips! I'm prone to distraction myself!
Quality & usefulness is important too! Congratulations.
Congratulations Richard👌🙌👏🏻
Bravo! I see my content on their website too... what can we do about this?
Jeffrey Bradbury keep badgering them until they stop.
Thanks. Great tools.
Many many thanks .....
Thanks
Awesome. Love this. I am working on a post now and have about 15 drafts inside Wordpress. Thanks for this kick in the rear.
Very helpful and easy to follow: thank you!
thank you very much, you helped me a lot!
Thank you very much. This was the "missing link" to successfully completing my model glider club's calendar.
Thank you! Very helpful. Easy to follow.
Perfect! Thank you for a well-done video!
Excellent tutorial, Richard. Thank you for sharing, from Rosario, Argentina!!!!
Thank You so much, very helpful for my project!
Worked really well, thank you.
Is it possible to make the html code synchronized with the actual calendar? Lets say I put a new assignment, can it sync with the calendar on my blog ? Thanks for helping :)
Simon Froment The calendar automatically updates when you refresh your page.
I do not know why I can see my google calender when I sign in my blogger, but once I sign out I cannot see it anymore. It will leave a big space on my blogger. I cannot figure out where I did wrong. Please help
Hi, thank you for your very good video. Could you tell me the software you use to make it? Thank you in advance, Antonio Manno Venice, Italy
Thank you so much for publishing this. I used the old Google Maps for years to make vacation maps for my family. When Google updated their Map feature, I couldn't figure out how to do this again. I searched everywhere. I'm not sure why Google dropped the ball on directing us to this feature.
Thanks for posting
Thank you for this! :)
Handy! Especially the options for embedding calendars into a blog. Thanks Richard!
Thx. Very clear. Shame there are no Twitter or KZread integrations possible. Yet?
Thanks for sharing the info. The video was very helpful.
This is fantastic! It would have taken me hours to figure this out by trial and error. Your tutorial made it the work of about 5 minutes! Admins for a hobby group wanted the calendar in the blog in a certain format. This was the perfect tutorial! Thanks so much!
Every once in a while my dog Max barks at things for reasons only he understands. Today, he decided to bark at my parked truck.
What software did you use to display your iPad and record your desktop? It looks so seamless! Thanks for sharing!
aigera 77, to retrieve a report do the following: on the main screen click on manage quizzes, you will see the third option is: retrieve a previous quiz report. Using the drop down box, select the quiz you wish and then click send report or download report.
I love the "add image" feature. However, I think it is key to find a way to add images from an uploaded spreadsheet quiz. I have used many of these quiz tools over the years, Socractive has been by far the easiest. The thing I like most is that I can simply upload a quiz from a previously existing d-base of questions (excel spreadsheet). If the quiz tool goes sideways/bankrupt/gets acquired by a company I don't like etc, I will always have my spreadsheet.
Hooray for Socrative for adding these new features! Thanks for the video upload too, sir
