  Credit card debt is just a matter of fact. Debt is how you build your credit. You just gotta be smart about it and keep your debt to limit ratio low and accept the fact you will never pay it completely off. Cause you don’t want to do that. That hurts your credit. Ideally you reach a point where you’re paying off last month’s balance every month so you don’t inquire interest and possibly also get points and cash back on top of it. And you can splurge every once in a while and not sink. Then you work to get that shit down to a manageable level after. Try and keep it under 30% of your credit limit. And always be on the lookout for new cards, one every 6 months to a year, and always check if your credit limit can be upped on your existing cards. If you’re able to stay under 30% utilization while also paying off last months balance every month don’t use that extra money to pay extra, put it in a savings to earn interest.

  I'm 32 and never had a credit card. used to be jealous of my friends that had nice cars or that were going to Florida for vacation till I realized....damn I'm actually better off than them just minding my own business playing my video games and chillin
