  I JUST bought one from a dealer on Amazon and the knife action is so stiff you can’t flick it open or close in one motion or with one hand.

  Coldsteel katanas are garbage. Stay away from them. Back in the day it was almost all there was, but nowadays these are the old obsolete swords and the newer stuff is better and less expensive, for the most part.

  I hope they make a full size auto adamas with the CF/magnacut. Also a full size barrage with the blue richlite scales would be nice since as of now they have the minis in both but not the full size variants.

  meh. This could have been done better. Its a nice looking knife but feels very lacklustre when it comes to bang for the buck. i mean, washers? steel liners? g10? come on... not for that price. you can do better Benchmade. We've literally been screaming for years for something akin to the 42 and after the 6x series, I feel you owe us :p nah seriously.. Im sure it flips fine but for this price and from benchmade, I want better than fine. I want actually good. I know youve got big boots to fill because you're usually very good,but this feels like a budget materials knife.

  Is it when it’s open, closed or both? If you can, hit it with some knife lube, if that doesn’t do the trick I’d give Benchmade a contact.

  Definitely give it some lube, thats actually pretty common with what we’ve had come in with Benchmade, especially if you flick em hard, but wear it in and lube it, should be smoother after some time.
