    I truly believe WOLF AIO changed the face of inexpensive guitars…I bought a Wolf LP in 2017 for $400 and it is every bit as good as a $1500 Gibson. Since then the PRC and other locations have amped up their manufacturing equipment and tech..the landscape of budget guitars has taken a completely different direction, an outstanding one! What once was only big brands being able to afford the equipment, design and quality control is now affordable for no name factories on the come up, and many are making waves. It’s a dream for new players that might never realize the goldmine they have available to them vs even just 10 years ago. China guitars were junk, cheap piles of junk and now, well..just look at the Fesley here and so many others. Quality like set up, the finish and most of all they aren’t junk pinging and chiming away with crap tone. The fact a $200 guitar can be bought and give quality is crazy but it is here to stay. So get one and play your soul out!!

    OMG, WOLF now AIO of California, I want to send a pic of mine that only cost $400 in 2017 full of Abalone, inlays, headstock, binding! It’s incredible on sound and quality. Out of the Cali shop they work directly with us buyers for your personal set up before shipping. It so worth checking out it’s a Brand that has serious momentum and stellar guitars. $450 Wolfs offer values triple that price.

    This is where the sales marketing gets you. It actually costs the price of 2 guitars to ship 1. Its Advanced Sales tactic 101 Now you're euphoric for buying a cheap good guitar but YOU THINK you got 1 shipped for free but you didn't and now you're likely to buy another 2 in the future, so they successfully hooked you. See, they worked this out, how do you get return customers with a decent budget guitar? Simple, you jack the shipping up on one guitar giving them the "no brainer" option to ship 2. And even 3 guitars is only a few dollars more. 🎉

    Love Guyker Locking Tuners for a multitude of reasons… They’re a solid locking tuner at a budget price. In the spirit of full disclosure, they do sponsor content on my channel but they only found me because I was already making videos on how good their products were for the money. You’ll also likely need a reamer to make most locking tuners fit, as Jackson tuner holes often need to be opened up just a bit, at least that’s been my experience depending on the model... It’s super easy to do, although I don’t think I have a video on it. Lastly, use the coupon code “FretboardDiaries” to get 15% off on Guyker.com … I appreciate the comment and thanks for watching 🤘🎸

    😂 😂… I mean, I may have said it like that, but what I really meant was, if I had a $1000 guitar, I’d likely spend a bit more for a better quality tuner. Not taking anything away from these, they’ve been great on my budget Harley Benton. I’d just likely jump up to Grover’s or something similar for a higher end instrument. Unfortunately no, it doesn’t come with the roller saddle bridge. They sell that separately, it’s anywhere from $15-$25 depending on the color. I think black was $17 the last time I looked, but you’re right in the sense that it’s a must if you’re going to install this trem system

    This particular system is designed for Rosewood and similar woods on the fretboard. It’s not for use on a finished Maple and can damage it. If you’re unsure of whether or not it’s safe for your guitar, reach out to the manufacturer of the guitar, let them know what model you have, and ask if it’s safe to use. That’s your best bet…

After seeing this one especially in the flat paint now I want this one. So thank you for making me more confused. -) When you were talking about what other KZreadrs have been saying about their name on everything that doesn't bother me. The way I'm looking at it is that day for proud of the product they are putting out there and they want everybody to know their names. I enjoyed the way you were playing you really had a good sound. I can say I always hit the like button before watching the video. I always think that is someone put effort into this the least I can do is the hit the like button. There has been a few times where I have to go back and uncheck the box. When I like the person who made the video and they are knowledgeable on what they are talking about I feel I'm obligated to subscribe. I know it takes you guys a long time to make these videos. Looking forward to watching more from you.

    I really appreciate the comment man… I’m in the middle of a move and haven’t really been able to record or even respond to comments… but I love comments like these and it’s what makes KZread really worth it. Thanks for taking the time to leave this comment… Also, thanks for understanding the effort that goes into it… For us small KZreadrs, we are the on air talent, lighting guy, sound guy, videographer, editor, thumbnail creator, and of course, responding to comments. Ad revenue doesn’t really pay squat and I turn down a good majority of sponsorship requests (I accepted Fesley because of their hands off approach) So, for many of us, we do KZread because we enjoy helping people, we enjoy interacting with an awesome guitar community, and we also like the little bit of cash income on the side… So comments like these matter, and thanks for leaving one 🤘🎸 Thanks again for watching and thanks for the sub

    Hello friend, I also saw the video in which you reviewed the Schecter c6 pro, I am undecided between js32 and c6 pro, which one has a harder and tighter sound in riffs.

  • @FretboardDiaries
    @FretboardDiaries17 күн бұрын

    So the Schecter is an absolutely beautiful guitar… The Kelly’s finish wasn’t great, as I mentioned in the video. The Schecter has more of a DiMarzio sound, ideal for leads, but lower end rhythms can be a tad muddy. The Kelly is definitely better suited for Rhythm style, very hot and tighter tone. I did ultimately replace the Kelly pickups with GuitarFetish active pickups and it absolutely SCREAMS now… Lastly, the Schecter needed a full setup out of the box… I would call the way it was setup “Embarrassing” and it was borderline unplayable, whereas the Jackson was setup up flawlessly, with really low action out of the box. So out of the box, the Kelly would probably be a better option for what you’re looking for. Hope that helps 🤘🎸

    I got one but it seems to break the high e at the ball end. I might need to file it or something. Also the spring seems a little weak. Overall it’s fun but maybe not as stable as I was hoping for. I will keep messing with it. I never got any padded stickers. But I do like their roller bridge.

  • @FretboardDiaries
    @FretboardDiaries18 күн бұрын

    That’s interesting… I’ve heard a few folks complain about string breakage, but that hasn’t been an issue for me. I do have the Roller Saddle bridge, which helps prevent it, and I don’t go crazy on it, but I have put a good amount of time on it playing some demanding songs and haven’t had any breakage issues. That said, perhaps filing it may help. It’s also interesting that you didn’t get the padded stickers, which is why I felt they really should include a parts list and simple instruction guide. I’m hoping Guyker considers doing that, so that if something is missing, you know it… 🤘🎸

    If you are a perfectionist as i am then Harley Bentons will drive you mad. You only need to look at how many B grades are available to realise that the returns rate must be high. I tried 3 samples of their CST24 and they all had dings and scuffs to the finish. The safest way to buy them is as used, this way an honest seller will show you the imperfections before you decide to buy it. This is how i bought my Fusion and HM strats, both had been fully setup and were as close to perfect as you will find.

    Darrel Braun reviewed an inexpensive floating locking nut system that you clamp it directly on the strings behind the regular nut and it has fine tuners for each string. I've yet to see anyone else demo that product, although I haven't exactly searched for more videos on it, but perhaps that or a graphite / Graphtech nut could also help. Don't remember the name of the product or who made it, but you will find it quickly with a search through Mr. Braun's videos! \m/ Keep Rocking Fretboard Diaries! \m/

    Hey! Glad to see ya. Man, you really own the whole fret polishing task. Amazing results without a polishing wheel. You got this. I even replayed the video to write down the polish you used. Dude, if you put a buffing wheel on a dremmel (be prepared for the spray out), you’d have them gleaming like a cosmic event. Btw, when you get tired of hand-taping (which you did immaculately), you can get various types of metal shields to expedite the process. Even though I don’t see a better way than tape, I understand when guys go to shields. Anyway, great video.

    Couple of things: HB is the "house brand" of Thomann, which is the world´s biggest online store for music gear. They´re literally the "Amazon of music equipment". They´re so cheap, because Thomann goes directly to the factories in Far East, have the instruments build and then import & ship them themselves. There´s no dealer involved, like with import brands of big name companies like Squier, Epiphone etc. Because they´re so big as a company, they can negotiate better prices from the factories and also get the hardware ( bridges/ pickups etc) much cheaper. That´s why you see a 1000 Floyd or EMG pickups on a 450 Euro Guitar. If you´re located in the EU & the UK, their shipping rates are super cheap. Sadly not so much in N. America, but that goes also the other way. Their return policies are usual very generous, usually they will refund or replace faulty instruments without any fuss. Sadly, because they sell so much and have this return policy, they skip on the QC and it´s not unusual to get a lemon. But QC has improved over the years, dramatically, specially the more expensive models are pretty well build. Speaking of, the more expensive series are usually made in Indonesia from what I know.
