Awesome 1st qtr by Caitlin. Iowa conked SC in the postseason last year 77-73. Clark was passing and shooting around Cardoso with no fear, getting the big woman's head spinning not knowing where the passes and shots were coming from and looking bewildered. This year Iowa lost some key starters and had a younger team around Clark, Martin & Marshall while SC got bigger. Are Watkins and Wiley dudes? Anyway it's interesting that Iowa beat SC last year but lost the finals to LSU, and this year they beat LSU and lost to SC. Ah well not particularly an Iowa fan and now that the coach retired and my 3 fave players left good luck to the team but I won't be following them. On to the W!!!!! 🤩🤑

CC is only a "superstar" in the eyes of her fans. She will need to earn her stripes on the court. CC will not be given a pass or an unlimited green light just because fans came to see her. The conspiracy theories that everyone is out to get her are complete lunacy. Unrealistic expectations have been placed on her by WNBA-ignorant fans. Hopefully, CC doesn't have a mental breakdown or just quit!😮

Thank you man. You know your basketball. WNBA could be better if they played like there life dependent on it. They been taking free money for far to long. Men don't get that. We get kicked out in the street. CC doesn't get special treatment. She worked hard to get where she is today and don't takes it for granted. Stop the hatred and give the lady her props. As they gave DT as a rookie in the WNBA. If they had worked on there game . They would have been CC before CC. I KNOW I'M RIGHT.

The thing that impresses me the most about this team is how they can keep composure even tho they down they keep calm and composed really impressive even when they was on brink of losing to Tennessee they still looked composed and believed they was gone win Dawn did a fantastic job at keeping them composed I feel it’s one of the reasons the freshman was so good in the championship

South Carolina coach looks UNBOTHERED 😭 her confidence in her team shows a lot. The only person she got mad with was the ref! they took this entire tournament and won every single game! This is the team that every other team has to prepare to TRY and beat

All I can say is Iowa was fortunate that everyone wasn’t shooting at their best. Raven can knock down 3 and Chloe hits the mid range consistently.

The two announcers eager to keep praising Clark was annoying . The only thing to shut them up was SC defense and scoring . Clark was outplayed by a defensive player who can’t shot . If raven had made half of her shots , SC would have blown Iowa out .

I want every one of these filthy refs to be investigated. The nonsensical calls that were made against South Carolina were outrageous. The lack of response from anyone in Iowa regarding this matter indicates the nature of this group. It raises questions about their integrity and impartiality in officiating the game.

They did the same thing last year in the semi-final NC vs Iowa. Aliyah Boston fouled on on crazy foul when Aliyah was getting fouled and no calls.

She's essentially a 1 1/2 old year freshman. She enrolled early. She is no more physically or mentally mature than a freshman, as she enrolled early last year and blew a year of eligibility while helping the team minimally. Not a good decision, but we can't take anything away from her performance this year as she is just a freshman by age. How many freshman contribute the way she did this year? She is an asset.
