BioHeritage Challenge

BioHeritage Challenge

New Zealand's Biological Heritage (BioHeritage) is one of eleven National Science Challenges set up to answer the big questions in Aotearoa.

Our mission is to reverse the decline of New Zealand's biological heritage, through national partnership, to deliver a step-change in research innovation, globally leading technologies and community and sector action.

In short, we aim to: protect and manage our biodiversity, improve our biosecurity, and enhance our resilience to global threats and pressures.
